Customize your combinations
You can customize any trick inputs! If you change them, please note that the following settings for standard moves will not apply. There are also some slots that are not used when the game starts, so you can manually add more moves. The remaining slots need to be unlocked by completing tasks, collecting items collectibles and much more!
Here is a short list of moves in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 that deserve your attention first:
Manual – while on a hard surface, quickly press the buttons up and then down (or forward and backward) to stand on the two back wheels of the board. Keep your balance by continuing to press the same buttons to keep the front wheels from hitting the ground and falling back.
Nose manual - the same as Manual, but here you need to press the button down, and only then up to get on the front wheels.
Flatland Tricks - When performing a Manual or Nose Manual trick, press the Grind, Flip and Grab buttons to perform a variety of tricks, including Casper and Pogo.
Reverse – When performing another trick on a vertical surface such as a halfpipe or ramp, press one or both of the stance change buttons to rotate the board 180° and extend the current combo with the option to end it with a Manual or Nose Manual.
Spine Transfer – if there are two adjacent vertical surfaces nearby (e.g. two ramps or a halfpipe), then jump into the air and press the Revert button to jump from one surface to another and extend the current combo, as well as earn extra points for the trick.
acid drop – While performing Ollies, No Complies, Boneless, Nollies, or Fakie Ollies on a sloping surface, press the Revert button to accelerate before the next combo by landing with a Manual or Nose Manual.
wall ride – skateboarding veterans know this trick by heart, but repetition is the mother of learning: after jumping onto a vertical surface (like a wall), press the Grind button, and you can slide along the wall on the board, earning points and creating a reserve for the next combo.
wall plant – after jumping onto a vertical surface, press the Boneless button to push off with your feet from it in the opposite direction, while trying to stay on the board and not break your nose.
Trick Transitions - You can alternate maneuvers by double-clicking one of the Grind, Grab and Flip buttons, regardless of the trick you are performing.
