Most diamonds are found at great depths.
It is possible to collect an infinite number of diamonds, Lithium or Gold. To do this, you need to find Sea Stalkers traveling along their path in the Big Reef and Dunes biomes. Toptuns knock out shale from the ground, in which there is actually a diamond.

The best places containing diamonds
If you're new to Subnautica: Under Zero and need to find diamonds quickly, we recommend heading to Deep Winding Bridges, which can be found near the starting biome. You need to go down below 200m to find a large amount of diamonds. It is worth noting that aggressive creatures are hiding in the depths, so be careful!
You can also mine about three or four diamonds near the half-open door leading to Koppa Mines. If you're lucky, you can even get diamonds from sea monkeys.
