Comparison of Valorant Economy with CSGO. Full Analysis

Riot Games has finally given fans a glimpse of the upcoming Valorant FPS on March 2 - but how will the economy system work compared to CS:GO?
The upcoming first-person shooter in development by Riot Games already has a lot of fans. Since the early trailer was shown in October Valorant, many call it a hybrid of Overwatch and Counter-Strike.
And while there are some striking similarities, Valorant shares a feature with Valve's hit FPS that will be at the very root of the gameplay - economy.
Based on Analyzing footage from an early Riot trailer , we already know that Valorant will use the same round-based economic system that was the basis for the Counter-Strike game. So let's weigh the similarities and differences.
First of all, players will be able to purchase one weapon, one primary weapon, one shield, and up to four abilities per round. There are different types of weapons to suit every playstyle, which means you can swing the rifle for those long-range engagements, or get up close and personal with the SMG.
Because there are many weapons to choose from, we let's look at them in detail in another article. What's interesting is that players will be able to keep an eye on the economic status of their teammates on the left side of the buy menu.
Additionally, teammates will be able to request a firearm or shield if they don't have enough resources. As seen in the screenshot below, the Sage agent requests a phantom from his teammate, who offers the "Buy" option for 2900.
Valorant also boasts agency abilities, which also need to be acquired each round, as opposed to being earned while playing or directly from kill/aim bounties.
Essentially, this adds another dimension to the economic system that players must consider when making strategic decisions about how to play a round.
According to official website Valorant: "Valorant is a game for bold strategists who dare to play the unexpected because if it wins, it works."
In terms of economic management, the system will remain much the same as CS:GO, as players will be able to choose to save if the team's economy is on the weak side and vice versa. However, there is an option to vote to keep/buy - a feature that will definitely help to get the whole squad on the same page, albeit slightly.
