Seething Bazelgeuse - general information

First nameSeething Bazelgeuse
Classflying wyvern

Physiology

Seething Bazelgeuse has a more metallic blue body coloration when normal. Its normal state is similar to the heated state of Bazelgeuse. It can become even more powerful when its head and tail glow white-hot, and then glow with a scorching purple-white light.

Behavior and Abilities Seething Bazelgeuse

Seething Bazelgeuse has further developed the destructive abilities of his explosive scales. In its first powered state, it will drop explosive scales as normal, though these scales can be thrown with more long-range attacks. In the second enabled state, the scales glow with a bright purple light before exploding in a huge radius. These scales will stick to surfaces, including walls. When all of its scales turn purple, Seething Bazelgeuse will use its most powerful move: it will fly into the sky, scattering the scales over a wide area, and then crash back down with a massive explosion. This attack will consume all of his explosive scales, returning him to his normal state. The seething Bazelgeuse has the ability to shed scales simply by shaking its head or tail, saving it the normal need to bombard. Not only do they fly wilder, but because they are always hot, he doesn't have to blast them with his body.

Seething Bazelgeuse Attack Schemes

Characteristics of Bazelgeuse in previous games

Disperse explosive scales over a wider area than regular species

The bubbling bazelgeuse has developed its explosive down its neck and tail to disperse its explosive scales, but it does so over a wider area than normal species. He is not safe at a certain distance, as the explosive scales on his legs are quite modest, but fighting at close range is easier.

Be careful if the scales glow purple

Over time, the scales on Boiling Bazelgeuse's head and tail glow purple. When this happens, the explosive scales he threw that fell to the ground glow before he explodes afterwards. Because these scales are scattered over a wide area, you may be forced to run around them depending on your position to avoid damage.

Take it down by attacking the light emitting parts

As damage builds up on the glowing head and tail, Boiling Bazelgeuse sinks down. In addition, all the explosive scales on his body will disappear once the luminescence is gone. Once you get used to it, aim aggressively.
