excitement about Atomic Heart has grown significantly since it was announced four years ago, thanks to a steady stream of increasingly quirky, sci-fi trailers showcasing a Soviet-era, BioShock-like first-person shooter.

Atomic Heart could be one of the biggest sleeper hits of 2023. Whether this potential will be realized is another question, although early impressions are promising: our first hands-on preview of Atomic Heart called it "an immersive world to get lost in, with fast-paced combat and inspirational art and enemy design."

Longtime Doom composer Mick Gordon created original music for Atomic Heart, which will be mixed with compositions from the 50s-80s. The result, according to developer Mundfish, is "Soviet-style pop meets juicy Doom-style remixes."

Lies of P

It sounds (and looks) like a well-polished Dark Souls mod, but Lies of P - the soul-like one in which you play as Pinocchio - is not only real, it also looks damn good. True to the source material, Lies of P features a unique lie mechanic where the protagonist's decision to lie or not can affect gameplay.
