Fetranian Overlord Ku-Sothoth Raid in Lost Ark

Guide to Ku-Sothoth, Lord of Madness in Lost Ark - the third of the Lords of Fetrania. A team of 4 people can challenge him, for this, use the “Lord of Fetraniya” stele, which is located in every major city.

Fight this boss Lost Ark available in two modes: training (from gear level 1385) and normal (from gear level 1475).

Training can be done once a week on Legacy using a separate stele. In this mode, the Harmony effect works, and some mechanics have been changed and removed.

A feature of this raid is the summoning of one of the 3 esdos to the battlefield. After the scale is full, the raid leader can use one of the esdo skills. You can call into battle - Ninav, Master Wei and Jonah. Each of them has their own skills.

  • Parkunas' Vengeance - Ninav fires his Parkunas, targeting an enemy's weak spots and dealing significant damage. On hit, the skill has a chance to remove some of the buff effects cast by Lord Fetrania.
  • Awakening of the Beast — Master Wei summons a Beast that unleashes three powerful attacks that deal debilitating damage to enemies.
  • Elzovyn Ward - Iona creates a magical shield with a 14 yard radius. While active, players are immune to stagger and knockback effects. In addition, the shield partially absorbs damage and reduces the character's madness bar. At the end of the action, the skill restores the character's health in proportion to its maximum value.

It is also useful to use the appropriate Ark Story deck for the passage if it is upgraded to a general level of 18. If not, then Tortoik's Fate and We'll Meet Again will come in handy to increase the hero's survivability.

At all stages of the Ku Sathoth raid, each player will have a scale of insanity. It fills up if the character is hit by the boss's attacks (yellow or red).

When the gauge is filled by 50%, a cross attack will appear around the character. Getting under it, the player will increase the indicator of insanity.

When the gauge is filled to 100% for 15 seconds, the player transforms into a minion of Ku-Sothoth and gains the Puppet of Madness debuff, increasing damage taken against the character by 25%. After this time, the player's insanity gauge is completely depleted. In addition, 3 skills become available to the "puppet".

Q - "More piu." The player throws a bomb at the target, applying a debuff that lowers the target's defense and dealing damage.

W - "Tu-doo-doo!" The player blows the horn, creating an aura around them that lowers the insanity of nearby allies and increases the insanity of those far away. Enemies caught in this zone become stronger.

Е - "Surprise!". The player summons a magical box containing an orb that lowers the madness of the picker. The madness bar is missing from the training version of the raid in the first and second phases, and some mechanics have also been simplified.

To successfully complete the first phase, you will need the coordination of the movements of the entire group, as well as mutual understanding.

At the beginning of the battle, each player will receive one of the 4 cards above his head. The battle with the boss is divided into several stages - focus on the number of health bars of the boss.

On 145-130 strips, the boss will carry out a pizza-like attack, on each of the corners of which there will be one of the 4 suits. Players must stand in the sector corresponding to their map. The boss can attack up to two times, and the mechanic can be repeated at 50 bars.

At 130 stripes, the boss will start drawing a death star on the floor. After completing the ritual, he will deal fatal damage. To avoid this, it is necessary to exhaust Ku-Satoth as quickly as possible. Be careful: at this time, a purple shield will appear on one or both sides of the boss, reflecting all the damage received. For example, the Summoner should be controlled so that her summoned creatures do not hit this shield.

The following mechanics should be discussed with party members prior to the start of the raid. On 110 bars at 11, 1, 5 and 7 hours, clones of the boss will appear, located facing the wall. After a few seconds, they will turn and show one of two animations: a heart or a pop of confetti. The task of the group is to turn towards the real Ku-Satoth, who will show the opposite animation from the clones. Determining the real one is simple: after seeing the animation of the heart, put a mark on the map. At 90 stripes, all members of the group turn into puppets, and one of the suits appears above their heads. It is necessary at this moment to run towards the corresponding suit. The player has 4 skills - 4 artistic poses.

If Ku-Sathoth starts clapping his hands and then chooses a pose to repeat, the player needs to use the appropriate skill. If he turns away after the claps, you should take any position other than the one chosen by the boss. If you make a mistake, the player will take damage.

At 75 bars, the mechanics of "pizza" are repeated, and at 65 - exhaustion.

On 45 stripes, the boss stands in the center of the battlefield and starts spinning the roulette - when it stops, players need to stand in the sector with their suit. Pay attention to your card: what suit and color it is, striped or not. The boss will spin the roulette 3 times, and then blow it up under him.

On 25 strips, the mechanic is repeated with animations of the heart or confetti.

In addition to the main ones, the boss also conducts a number of other mechanics.

  • Summons card puppets, which should be quickly eliminated.
  • Summons a box with a clown on the field, which will begin to twist the card suits. After a short time, the box will break and drop an orb with the chosen suit. When it is picked up by a character with the same card above their head, the player's insanity scale will decrease. Otherwise, the scale of insanity will increase.
  • The boss starts the card game. Players should move away from the boss to make it easier for them to complete the mechanic. Ku-Sathoth moves to the center and immobilizes one or three players. If one target is immobilized, the boss will start releasing cards with suits towards the immobilized one, the task of the remaining players is to pick up the suits of their colors so that the immobilized teammate gets his suit. If three are immobilized, Ku-Sathoth releases cards in the direction of the remaining player. His task is to send cards to party members by suit and pick up his own. You can understand who the cards will fly to with the help of a pyramid that will show the color and suit. If the color of the pyramid differs from the standard color of the suit, then three targets will be immobilized, and the fourth free card will be the first card, if the color matches the color of the suit (for example, spades are black), then one person with the label of spades will be immobilized.

  • The clown summons two pillars of fire and starts spinning clockwise with them.
  • Disappears and summons clown heads from under the field, after which it unleashes a massive spin attack. Safe zones - between circles.
  • Makes a quick dash forward - at this moment the boss can be counterattacked.

After completing the first phase, you will receive 1 Trumpet of Ku-Sothoth, 500 gold, and relic ornaments. Opening the Esdo Box has a chance to give you 1 more Ku-Sothoth Trumpet.

In the second phase, you have to fight with the buffoon Ku-Satoth. Recommended consumable items for Phase XNUMX: Potion of the Witch of Clay and Potion of Respite. To make it easier for the mechanic, you can take with you a Cape of Agility or a Camping Banner.

Players will have to fight in an arena without walls, and the battle itself is divided into several stages - focus on the number of boss health bars.

On 125 stripes, Ku-Sathoth appears on the battlefield with a huge hammer. Every 30 seconds, he will start hitting a specific target with yellow attacks, pushing players away. Greenish rays from the eyes will help you determine the target of the attack, which will follow the selected target. Be very careful, if the beam turns red-orange, all party members must turn away from the big clown to avoid getting a negative effect - fear.

At the moment Ku-Sathoth appears, the buffoon flies up and gives one of two attacks.

Bouncing, the clown scatters balls on the floor, which explode on impact, causing damage and pushing the target away, or the doll will ride on the strings in the air, throwing mines under their feet, which will cause damage over the area and try to throw you off the arena.

When the number of health bars reaches 112, the party members should pair up, two players on the left of the arena and two on the right. During the mechanics, red or blue domes will appear on the field. Two players on each side of the arena must look at the color of their domes. If there are two blue ones, then each player occupies the blue dome, if one is blue and one red, then both players take place under the red dome. If only one player enters the red dome, the probability of his survival in it will slowly decrease and only a respite potion will help, there is no periodic damage in the blue dome. Outside the dome, the boss will perform a deadly attack.

When the number of health bars reaches 95, the buffoon will hide in one of the flipped cards. The goal of the group is to find a card with a doll, by turning over cards, by hitting Ku-Satoth's hammer. The overlord will only hit the target with 3 hammer blows. The easiest way to check cards is through one, since when hit, 3 cards are turned over. You should first check the second cards on both sides, because if you turn them over, there is no buffoon, then he is 100% in the card in the middle and you can immediately stand on it avoiding a deadly attack. The player on whom the mark will be should dodge the attack in order to avoid falling from the battlefield, in extreme cases, you can get up and take a break. After completing the mechanics, you can immediately use Ninav's esdo skill to deal damage.

When the number of health bars reaches 76, the doll will open a portal to the labyrinth. All members of the group will be in the center of the room where the statue will stand. After breaking the statue, a spyglass will appear in its place, which will show the player without a mark the entire maze. The easiest way to perform this mechanic is to enable screen sharing to a person who will not be doing the mechanic (finishing the statue). The three remaining players should find three clowns with a label identical to yours in 2 minutes 30 seconds and kill them. After collecting three cards in the debuff row, you will have access to the portal corresponding to your mark, which appears a minute after the start. Be careful when collecting, because Sen-san rolls across the field on a ball and removes all the collected cards. Then you have to re-collect them. The mechanic will be completed when all three party members return to the center of the room. In the center of the room, you should not be in the middle, as a clown also passes there and deals damage.

The 55 health bar mechanic is only found in normal raid mode. The boss moves to the center and summons 2 stars around him. They will show the direction of the next 3 pizzas. The player stands at 12 o'clock and runs in the direction shown by the stars, completing a full circle. After the mechanic, it will repeat 2 more times. The direction of the stars may change. The final mechanic starts at around 26 health bars and duplicates the mechanic at 95 health bars. The group should once again find the buffoon.

Clown attacks:

  • The minion takes out a huge cannon and aims a laser at one of the group members.

  • The doll disappears and summons clowns with hoops, clowns form red zones and one white one. A clown with a white zone is safe for players. You can also just stand between the dolls at the edge of the platform, so that Ku-Sathoth does not get a look and does not hit the head with a hammer.
  • The doll will scatter balls around the battlefield that explode under your feet.
  • The minion selects one target and throws either bombs or missiles at it.

Ku-Sothoth Attacks:

  • Forms a rectangular yellow attack that will blow all players in its path into the abyss of despair.
  • Ku-Sathoth delivers 2 or 3 hammer blows to the field. First a small area, then a large one.
  • Takes a big breath and covers a large sector of the battlefield with a yellow attack, blowing away the fire of the players caught in it.
  • Ku-Sathoth can lock onto a nearby target and go over the head with multiple hits. Can deal lethal damage.

The boss also has mechanics that can be counterattacked - do not forget about skills with such an effect.

Ku-Sathoth, Lord of Madness (Phase 3)

Recommended consumables for the third phase: Potion of the Witch of Glinnitsa, Exhaustion Grenades, Respite Potion, and Monastery Pomegranate to remove the Burn debuff.

The last phase is distinguished by its mini-games, which each member of the group has to play. In Training Mode, a Madness Gauge appears during this phase, as it is required to activate the mini-games.

At 155, 125, 85, 55 stripes you will find mechanics for collecting balls of a certain color. The desired color will always appear on one of your party members above their heads. It is necessary to tell what color we collect on a certain mini-game. If the player passing the mini-game dies, then the holder of the color will die with him. To enter the mini-game, the player must be in the clown transformation, so decide in advance who will play the mini-games in what order. For a quick set of madness, clowns on balls with an aura will appear on the field, which quickly increases the scale to the maximum.

Dial the scale up to 70% and stand in the center of the room where the portal to the mini-games will be located. Get the missing percentage from the attack and move to the mini-game. To help your party members before leaving, you can give a skill on Q into a summoned puppet on the battlefield. In the upper left corner, the time for which you must complete the game will be shown.

The meaning of the mechanics with mini-games is simple, you need to remember the sequence. A portal always appears in the center, 1 player enters in the form of a clown, the rest of the players stay close to the boss and dodge Ku-Sothoth's various tricks and tricks. When the number of health bars reaches 125, the mini-game becomes a little more difficult - flying rockets and fire-breathing clowns appear in it. Otherwise, also break 3 balls and come out alive. During the second mini-game, players will need to dodge flying hooks. On hit, the hook will drag the player to the edge of the arena, eating health every second. A ring of fire around the arena inflicts the Burn effect, which stacks up to 4 times.

When the number of health bars reaches 90 there is no mini-game, but the clown goes crazy and starts to destroy everything. After the clown moves to the center, the group should stand at 12 or 6 o'clock. By giving yellow attacks, he singles out the players who will be fired upon. The boss creates circular and cone yellow attacks, and also summons bombs that can be hit by a cone attack and explode forcibly. To facilitate this mechanic, you should give the skill of Iona's esdo.

When the number of health bars reaches 85, the third game will begin, which will be more difficult with bouncing balls and elite clowns. This game consists of two locations. During the third game, saws will ride around the arena and hooks will fly.

When the number of health bars reaches 55, the fourth mini-game will begin - the most difficult and has many obstacles. When you enter it, you should decide where you go for the balls. During the fourth game after the curtain falls, the players appear at 4 o'clock. One character will be closed in an iron maiden, and the remaining two need to activate the lever, bypassing the hooks and saws. To simplify, you can share who is running from above, who is from below, the boss will be at 9 o'clock. At the beginning of the game, there will already be two skulls on the board. Standing on tiles with shards will fill your Madness gauge. Every 30 seconds the boss will emit a purple aura and hang bombs on the players, after about 6-7 seconds it is set on the tile where the player is and explodes, placing shards on adjacent parts.

The task of players with bombs is to make a row of shards. If you couldn't do it, call Jonah. Upon successful completion of the mechanics, the boss eats about 13 health bars and the group is given invulnerability for 10 seconds, the shards are painted over in red and cannot be removed.
