FIFA 9 Season 20 Reveal: Start Time, Storyline & More
FIFA 20 is on the verge of opening Season 9 - the last Ultimate Team season in this edition before FIFA 21 takes over in October - along with several improved storyline maps, the latest batch of rewards and some goodies.
The final season of the franchise in FIFA 20 will be important in terms of new goals and rewards on offer as we near the end of the title cycle. Fan attention has only just begun to shift to FIFA 21, but there's still more to come in Ultimate Team 2019/20.
For those still tackling all of the challenges and squad building challenges in FUT 20, you'll be happy to know that another raft of unlockables is on the way. This includes tifos, celebrations, banners, and Storyline players.
Here's everything we know about the latest season of FIFA 20. This includes the start date, soccer stars will receive the latest storyline cards, and more!
FIFA 9 Season 20 start date
If the final season of FIFA 20 works the same way as all the others in terms of start dates, it should start on the Monday after the end of Season 8. This means that we are waiting for the start match 31 of August .
It is worth remembering that this season will be shorter than most others. FIFA 21 is scheduled to release on October 6, which means the final season of FIFA 20 will likely run shortly before that so EA can move everyone to the new title.
This means Season 9 will run for about six weeks. Storyline cards and rewards will most likely be available for less XP due to the reduced completion time.
Season 9 Rewards
This season's rewards will be similar to the same rewards that FIFA 20 players have received for completing challenges over the past eight seasons. However, this time the Ultimate Team leaks didn't reveal the rewards sooner.
We'll update this article as soon as the rewards for Season 9 are announced.
Story Players
Unfortunately, FIFA 30 Season 20 level 8 player rewards have not yet been announced. As soon as they are discovered or announced, we will update this article with all the details!
For now, here are the predictions for the mid-tier and top-tier rewards we expect to see in the final season:
15 level
- ➤Lucas Levia, Lazio (midfielder rated 94).
- ➤Dani Ceballos, Arsenal (midfielder rated 93).
- ➤Florina Grillich, Hoffenheim (midfielder with a rating of 92).
30 level
- ➤Nacho Fernandez, Real Madrid (defender rated 95).
- ➤Allan Marquez Loureiro, Napoli (midfielder with a rating of 95).
- ➤Allan Saint-Maximin, Newcastle (96 striker).
FIFA 20 is taking things to the next level in terms of updates and promotions, and this season's improved storyline maps should be no exception. Saint-Maximin has been FIFA's favorite this year due to his incredible pace - he's most likely in the game.
The other two level 30 variants were also chosen by FIFA this time around. Especially Allan, who reportedly signed a three-year contract with Everton amount of 9,6 million pounds sterling, was the top midfielder for most of the FUT 20 cycle.
EA SPORTS is expected to confirm this final season sometime over the weekend ahead of the Monday, August 31st start date. Once we have confirmed all level 30 rewards, we publish them!
