After a long period without an update, EA has finally revealed the details of the Battlefield 2042 3.2 update, with a number of key gameplay changes outlined in the latest patch notes.

Ongoing problems Battlefield 2042 have become quite devastating to the game's longevity hopes, with many players actually returning to classics such as Battlefield V, Battlefield 4, and Battlefield 1.

Since the content of the first season Battlefield 2042 is still under development, the overall gameplay does not suit many gamers and buyers want a refund.

EA is constantly in the process of updating the game, and now we have full information about what is included in the latest major update.

Battlefield 2042 Update 3.2 Coming to Thursday, January 20 However, the exact time for the patch has not been provided.

Future updates for Battlefield 2042: Scoreboard

Aside from everything included in the Battlefield 2042 3.2 update, EA has also mentioned a few other big changes along the way. This already includes plans for update 3.3 and will include game performance updates and improvements to Portal and All-Out Warfare.

Not only that, but the much-requested scoreboard feature is finally in the works.

Battlefield 2042 3.2 Update Notes

Common

  • Fixed an issue where leaving a party during matchmaking could cause the game to become unresponsive.
  • Fixed an issue where connecting to EA servers after signing up with a new account didn't work on the first try.
  • Updated the behavior of the exit button during the game so that it now takes you back to the correct screen
  • Fixed an issue that caused downloadable music to stop playing while loading a level

Soldier

  • Fixed a rare case where after landing with a wingsuit, hits were not always registering in some parts of the Sundance hitbox.
  • Fixed rubberband cases when running behind friendly players
  • Fixed a rare issue that could cause you to be stuck in both live and crashed loops
  • Fixed various ladder attachment issues that could cause you to get stuck in a state where you could fly away or lose control of your Specialist
  • Fixed a bug due to which the movement speed of soldiers was disrupted by nearby explosions that spawned craters.
  • Fixed an issue where camera shake and landing audio would unintentionally trigger when falling from very low heights
  • Fixed a bug due to which weapons from the charging box would sometimes inherit the ammunition from the previously selected weapon.
  • Fixed an issue that caused detection when firing weapons to notice you for too long.

Stability

  • Added several fixes to improve overall game stability
  • Fixed a rendering-related crash that could occur for AMD Radeon VII users when Sundance was visible on screen

Weapon

  • Sniper and SOFLAM glares are now visible from a greater distance

Vehicle

  • Fixed an issue where the passenger weapon would no longer sync whenever the driver's turret rotated, resulting in bullets not registering when firing at enemies.
  • M1A5, T28 - Improved effective firing range and reduced spread on Canister Weapon Pod
    • Reduced bullet spread from 1,6 -> 1,1
    • Increased fall damage from 35 -> 40 distance

Danger zone of the battlefield

  • Fixed a black rectangle being present on the screen during the end of a round in the danger zone when exiting the level progress screen

  • The Server Details tab is now preserved after clicking the Refresh button in the Portal Server Browser
  • Fixed an issue that caused text to overlap when joining a Team Deathmatch game at the end of a round
  • Rule Editor - 'IsInventorySlotActive' value now correctly handles melee weapons
  • Some admin commands can no longer be spammed
