First Look at Fortnite Doomsday Device

The upcoming Fortnite Doomsday event is just around the corner, and more and more clues are emerging. Players have now revealed a first look at what a doomsday device could look like in the game, if all goes well.
As the Fortnite Chapter 2 storyline draws to a close, things start to heat up. Can the island as players know it cease to exist? Well, it looks like, if the latest leaks surrounding the Doomsday Device are to be believed, it's highly likely.
A new doomsday device found by Reddit user 'Jonathan287' has been found in the Room of Doom in the main menu of Fortnite. Although several small Easter eggs have been found in the new rooms, this may be the largest.
The device looks like a glass ball with antennas attached to the bottom. What the device might be connected to or what is inside remains a mystery.
The Fortnite Doomsday Device was first released on March 31st when a major map update was sent out at The Agency. Manholes were spawning around the high-tech facility, although players were unable to open them.
Since then, keycards have been discovered that open these hatches, however they are currently disabled. Such a doomsday device could be stored in these hatches, and given its name, it could wreak havoc on the island.
The device leaked at that time is clearly different from what was found in Midas' room. On the one hand, the new device is understandable, while the old device had external samples. There is also no wiring anywhere. However, the shape and design are the same.

Rumors about what will happen on judgment day have been circulating for several weeks now. This could be the next live Fortnite event as the Chapter 2 story continues, or it could be something that players can get in every game.
However, like past events, no one knows what will happen until it happens. So while we wait and hope that the end of the world is near.
