Where to get the quest First Encounter with the Genshin Impact Miasma
"First Encounter with the Miasma" is given after completing the quest "Beginning of the exploration of the depths". This is an extensive quest line. Records of a journey deep into the Rift, where each quest is activated sequentially.

How to explore places where changes have taken place
Head to the location indicated on the map above to investigate the first location where the changes took place. Follow the quest marker and it will lead you to a tunnel in the underground part of the Rift. Upon reaching the end point, you need to take a screenshot, as in the image below:
After clearing the area of mobs, head to the second location. It's also marked on your radar. A mysterious female character will flash on the screen, and this is apparently Ye Lan.
This will complete the research.
