If you thought March brought enough games to keep you busy for a long time with big games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons и Doom Eternal then you are wrong. April is upon us, and with it comes an exciting dose of nostalgia in the form of reworks of classic titles, Final Fantasy VII and Resident Evil 3. Another notable highlight this month is Microsoft Gears Tactics, an XCOM-inspired spin-off. the Gears of War franchise that comes along with several other releases, big and small.

Resident Evil 3 (PS4, Xbox One, PC) - April 3
After the success of last year's remake Resident Evil 2 , Capcom is already giving us a remake Resident Evil 3 . As the protagonist of the Jill Valentine series, you embark on a perilous journey to survive the early days of the Raccoon City zombie outbreak. All the while, the high bioweapon known as Nemesis has been hunting you at every turn, making your fight against it much more difficult. Like its predecessor, RE3 reimagines the events of the original to create a unique survival-horror experience that seems to defy the expectations of longtime fans of the series while also horrifying and surprising newcomers.
Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4) - April 10
Final Fantasy VII Remake is finally out on April 10th. It's been rumored for a long time for the sixth generation of consoles and has been requested by fans for years after the PS3 tech demo stirred the hearts of Final Fantasy fans everywhere. But it's been nearly five years since its original announcement, and we're about to get our hands on the long-awaited remake.
Once again, you play as Cloud Stryfe, a former Shinra soldier turned mercenary who joins an eco-terrorist group to fight the evil Shinra Corporation that has been draining the planet's life energy. With an overhauled real-time combat system and a reimagined story, you'll be able to experience Final Fantasy VII in a completely new yet familiar way.
Gears Tactics (PC) – April 28
Gears Tactics is a turn-based tactical layout of the Gears of War franchise in the style of XCOM. It takes place 12 years before the first game and follows the exploits of a squad trying to survive the early days of the Locust Horde's invasion.
Despite the genre shift, Gears Tactics still hopes to maintain the fast-paced, aggressive action the series is known for.
