Examine the Treasure Map Board in the Junkyard and Find X. 10 Fortnite Week

Week 10 challenges for Season 8 are in front of us and there is another Treasure Map challenge to complete which will have you hunting the map and you will have to complete two separate stages.

New challenges fall on the same day as update v8.51, which added in the new Shadow Bomb, and while players were expecting "Overtime Challenges", they weren't mentioned in the patch notes.

Since this is now the last standard week of challenges for Season 8, and with no apparent overtime issues, this could be your last chance to collect all the important Battle Stars before Season 9 starts.

Step 1: Examine the Treasure Map Board found in the Spontaneous Junkyard [2 Battle Stars]

As a two-part quest, you'll first need to travel to the Spontaneous Junkyard, as the quest's name suggests, to find the treasure map itself.

Once in the Junkyard, head north of the location and you'll find a sign right between two piles of wrecked cars. Finding out that interacting with him should earn you your first Battle Star means you can now move on to Stage 2.

Stage 2: Search for X on the treasure map marker in the Junkyard [3 Battle Stars]

So now that you have the map, you need the treasure. The X symbol on the treasure map should lead you to the Fields of Perdition, more specifically the Forkknife area.

On the knife section, go to the base of the "blade" and you should be right at the spot where the "X" stands for the dot.

Finding a Treasure Map in the Scrapyard Trials:

1. Go to the Spontaneous Junkyard, find the treasure map pointer between the two piles of wrecked cars.

2. Move north of the Fields of Perdition, to the location of Fork Knife

3. Go to the bottom edge of the knife - interact with the battle star to complete the challenge

Remember that, as with all challenges, if you leave a match early, your progress may not count, so play the game until the very end if you do not want to repeat the process again.
