Description of Fortnite Update v14.10: Downtime and More
Fortnite developer Epic Games has confirmed that the v14.10 patch for Season 2 Chapter 4 is in the works - a little later than everyone expected - and we have all the early patch notes, details and more for the September 10th update .
Battle royale island was taken over by superheroes in Season 4, and now the Marvel theme continues with what could be called "Issue 2" in a big comic book crossover.

When will the Fortnite v14.10 update be released?
Epic Games has officially rolled out the v14.10 update on Thursday, September 10th. Downtime is expected to start at 9:00 a.m. ET.
The server will be shut down 20-25 minutes before the next update. Epic has confirmed that this patch will be "bigger than usual" on PC as well, so be prepared for that if you're a PC gamer.

Character Builder "Become a Hero"
One of the most exciting features coming to Fortnite in the v14.10 update is the "Become a Hero" customization option added to the Item Shop.
Create Your Own Hero allows you to create your own superhero that will fit right into the Marvel crossover and fight alongside Iron Man, Wolverine and more.
We haven't revealed exactly what customization options will be available for this new feature yet, but once we have all the details, we'll be sure to let you know.
v14.10 bug fixes
As usual, the Fortnite team has also added a number of bugs and issues to their official Trello board . This week's patch will likely include fixes for many of these recurring issues, including more PS4 bugs and issues with the Silver Surfer.
Here is the full list of bug changes potentially fixed for version 14.10:

- ➤Settings to turn off licensed sound for a radio that does not work outside the car.
battle royale
- ➤Low airframe speed after redeployment in certain situations.
- ➤Replays are not saved on PlayStation 4.
- ➤Using the Silver Surfer's Board on PS4 or Nintendo Switch sometimes causes a crash.
- The sound of the glider from enemies is sometimes missing.
- ➤It is not possible to eat or throw fish in the passenger seat.
- Using Bifrost Glow Contrail in a match causes FPS drops.
- ➤Supply boxes do not disappear after opening.
Creative mode
- ➤Reduced multi-select copy objects can return them to their original size.
