Description June 13 CoD Modern Warfare and Warzone Update
Infinity Ward has released a small multiplayer patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, this time fixing a few bugs that have occurred in the game.
Season 4 kicked off on June 11th and brought a bunch of new content to the game - including a new multiplayer map, an extensive assortment of Battle Pass levels, and three in-game events for Warzone. Fortunately, after discovering problems with each of them, the developers of the game rushed to fix it.
These updates should fix issues that players are experiencing with the new multiplayer map, Zhokov Scrapyard and its spawn locations, the inability to use Battle Pass content, and the frequency of in-game events in Warzone.
A patch is rolling out now to fix a few bugs in #ModernWarfare and #warzone:

Fix to help prevent spawning out of the map on Scrapyard
Fix for some players who were unable to use content unlocked via Battle Pass
· Fix for the frequency of In-Match events occurring in Warzone
This is a relatively tight update as it covers far fewer issues than any other major update like the launch of Season 4. But it is necessary, especially for Scrapyard - this is the last map that suffers from bugs.
Modern Warfare June 13 Bug Fix
- ♦Fixed an issue on the Scrapyard map that prevented players from spawning on the map.
- ♦Fixed players not being able to use Battle Pass content
- ♦Fixed "frequency" of three new events ("Prison Break", "Hot Sale" and "Support Helicopter")added to Warzone
Some time ago, Scrapyard was a highly anticipated map that existed in an earlier version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a later version of Call of Duty: Mobile, and essentially served as the Verdansk Warzone map area in Zhukovsky Cemetery. But after being thrown into season 4 as a 24/7 option, it was found to have spawning bugs that take people out of the war zone. This game-breaking issue seems to have been fixed as quickly as it appeared.
Similarly, the second fix simply addresses an issue that prevented players from using items they earned or purchased through Season 4. It's not entirely certain which points were at the center of this problem, but all seem to have been resolved.
Conversely, the third patch note seems to have touched on the spontaneity of new developments in Warzone. V season 4 patch notes it is stated that these "events may occur in any particular match without prior notice". It's not clear exactly what the problem was with their frequency, but the developers fixed their randomness to make sure they match the original intent.
Only time will tell what other bugs pop up in Modern Warfare and Warzone season four, but it's a positive sign that Infinity Ward has addressed these three so quickly. In the spirit of transparency, the team regularly updates the Trello board with issues they are working on.
Of course, the community should continue to raise any issues that arise. We hope this has some effect on the devs, and eventually may give us an answer to why we can no longer consistently get kills in pre-game lobbies.
