Bethesda has released the first major update for RAGE 2. This patch will update your game version to version 1.03, is 8 GB in size, new features, fixes, as well as optimizations. In more detail, this patch allows Bandit Camps to be played, adds new voice packs, and makes menu optimization improvements to address some slowdown issues.

Additionally, this first patch improves sharpness on high resolution screens to reduce "blur", fixes an issue where PC players are unable to access friends, stats or the store, fixes a crash that occurs when the player hover over a location icon . on the map and fixes an issue that caused the title to crash when launching the game using minimal hardware.

It's also worth noting that this update brings a number of UI fixes and tweaks, some audio and localization improvements, and numerous gameplay fixes. For example, fixed a bug due to which the parameters of the "Photo" mode were missing when re-entering the mode, and also fixed a bug due to which the player sometimes could not finish the location "Yeomanry Vegetation" due to the fact that not all enemies spawned , and improved the view of the camera. no longer causes him to shake violently when clinging to high ledges.

NEW FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS

  • Bandit Camps are now replayable! Visit any previously cleared camp, go through it as many times as you like and get rewards for it.
  • New Wasteland Mage cheat codes: Low Gravity, Meat Grinder, Phoenix Counter ejection, and Clegg Help.
  • Wasteland mage now only moves between 3 points instead of 15.
  • Added new commentators, including "Tele Madness" and "Is this what you call a wingstick?".
  • In Kill the Mutant, you can now see the high scores of friends from Bethesda.net.
  • Optimized menus to address slowdown situations.
  • An upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition can be purchased from the in-game store.
  • Improved melee box hit detection.
  • Drawers now have lights!
  • Amendments have been made to the day/night cycle. Before, the day progressed very slowly and the night was too long.

ACCOUNT

  • Linked Bethesda.net accounts appear as unlinked after network connection is restored.
  • The player will now see an error message when trying to connect to an already linked Bethesda.net account.
  • The player's account will no longer appear to be unlinked from Bethesda.net after the app has been temporarily suspended multiple times.

PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY

  • Fixed an issue that caused weapons, armor, and abilities to disappear after loading a save game.
  • In the PS4 version, we fixed an issue that caused the game to freeze at the legal information screen when attempting to launch without a network connection.
  • Fixed a bug in the PC version that blocked access to friends, statistics and the store.
  • Fixed a bug in the PC version that sometimes caused a crash when exiting to the desktop.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a crash when the player hovered over the location icon on the map.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a crash when the player was using the Icarus.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a crash when the game was launched on a system with a basic configuration.

  • Fixed an issue where character lines would sometimes not play.
  • Fixed a bug due to which dialogue lines sometimes did not play or were interrupted.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the battle music to stop playing after completing the Power Outage quest.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the music was not playing in the "Lodge of Victors".
  • Fixed an issue that caused sound effects to not play when the player unlocked ability levels and ability bonuses in the nanotrite menu.
  • Fixed an issue where the dialogue would sometimes stop playing in the character select menu when the player interrupted the intro cinematic.
  • Sound effects can now be heard when the motorcycle rolls over.
  • Fixed an issue that caused two different countdowns to play at the start of a race, out of sync with each other.
  • Restored the sound effect for the "New Journal Entry" message.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the reaction effects did not sound when the player received damage from lasers in the control center of the Goliath factory.
  • The player no longer plays pain sound effects when touching an electrical object, but does not take damage.
  • Sound effects can now be heard when opening the reactor hatches in the Shrouds Alfa substation.
  • Fixed a bug due to which debug text was displayed in the "Data Collected" item in all localized versions.
  • Fixed Japanese localization of the date and time on the save and load screens.
  • Fixed Russian localization of Pistol: Gold.
  • Fixed a typo in the description of the Assassination energy gun.
  • Social activity texts may display unsupported characters.
  • In the description of the data "Polite request to BLOW UP GAZKATRAS!" There are inconsistencies in all languages.
  • The speech of the Government watchtower has various distortions in the Japanese version.
  • The "Bandit's Lair" entry in the Silthole displays text describing Avadon mutants that is not related to this entry.
  • Fixed a number of text overlay issues in Portuguese (Brazil), Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), and Korean.
  • Fixed broken hyperlinks to Help section in Polish and Portuguese (Brazil) versions.

GAMEPLAY FIXES

  • Fixed an issue where choosing to speak with Dr. Kvasir did not always work.

  • Fixed a bug due to which the shotgun ammo counter displayed a different number of rounds when firing shotgun shells and bullets.
  • Fixed a bug in the interface with incorrect display of the reward pop-up window.
  • Fixed severe camera shake when the player grabs high ledges.
  • Players can no longer leave the game world with the Graviton and Whirlwind in the Kill a Mutant show.
  • Restored visual effects when firing the Smart Rocket Launcher in Fast & Furious.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the Predator tank was on the verge of destruction when the player loaded the game after dying in it.
  • Fixed an issue where hovering over the word "LOW" would prevent the player from selecting a different difficulty level using the arrow keys.
  • Fixed an issue where enemy vehicles would sometimes teleport in front of the player.
  • Map navigation aids no longer stop working after a race is completed.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the bullets of the Firestorm revolver did not stick to objects.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Doomsayer's peak from being completed after killing all enemies.
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented the player from completing the Yeoman Farm due to the fact that not all enemies spawned there.
