League of Legends Update 10.21: Halloween Theme, All Buffs and Nerfs

League of Legends Patch 10.21 has yet another massive balance and rework coming as Riot Games kicks off ahead of Season 11. Here are all the patch notes for the October 14th update.

Halloween season is upon us, which means spooky new League of Legends skins will be added to the game. These include new "enchanting" variants, as well as a set of space-themed Odyssey skins.

The LoL 10.21 patch will also bring a host of champion balance changes, including nerfs to world favorites Graves, Nidalee, and Camille, as well as a few more post-release tweaks to new ADC champion Samira.

"These changes won't change the World Cup meta, but we're trying to keep it balanced for the rest of the ranked season," Riot's Mark "Scruffy" Yetter said.

Aphelios will return in update 10.21

There is one big buff that will strike fear into the hearts of any bot laner ⁠ - Aphelios, who has just spent half a year of his reign of terror at the end of the ADC pool, will spearhead the new 10.21 LoL patch buff coming on October 14th. ⁠

He will be joined by fellow AD Carry members Corky, as well as Karma, Udyr, and Trundle.

High-skilled jungler Lee Sin is also up for a promotion. He, along with Udyr and the ice troll Trundle, will return to the jungle meta with a stat boost on October 14th.

Graves, Nidalee in update 10.21.

A trio of buffed junglers could take the place of the few going the other way in the next LoL update. Hecarim, Graves, and Nidalee have dominated the Rift in the Worlds so far.

Their dominance in Shanghai, which has skewed the jungle role meta, won't last long in the solo queue. All three will be nerfed in the next patch, Yetter revealed in his bi-weekly LoL update.

Camille and support Pantheon are two other carry picks that have enjoyed great success in the World Championship so far. The pair have played in nearly half of their group stage games so far, with a "modest" win rate of 75% showing their potential.

Finally, the new Season 10 bot lane champion Samira will also be nerfed.

Patch 10.21 Introduces New Halloween and Odyssey Skins

The League of Legends 10.21 patch actually adds two new skin packs to the game. One is based on Halloween and the other is even more futuristic Odyssey cosmetics.

Fizz will get a "Little Devil" skin similar to Timo's 2016 cosmetics. Amumu will be given a variant of the "Pumpkin Prince" and Eliza will be the next League champion to receive the "enchanting" skin along with Miss Fortune, Morgana and others.

All three new Halloween skins will be available for 1350RP in the next patch.

Five champions will also receive new Odyssey skins in patch 10.21.

This includes Kha'zix, Aatrox, Sivir, Twisted Fate, and Karma. Five cosmetics will be added to the already popular futuristic LoL skin line during the update on October 15th.

The latest new skin set to be added in patch 10.21 is the new ultra-rare Hextech skin. Kassadin will be granted a new blue steel ornament that can be unlocked with rare purple gems in the League of Legends loot shop at any time after release.

Finally, Nimbus Cloak sorcery rune selection will be weakened.

Patch 10.21 for League of Legends will be released on Wednesday, October 14th. Dexerto will continue to add all planned balance changes when Riot releases specific numbers.
