Fortnite Update 18.30: Everything that has changed

The Fortnite 18.30 update will bring tons of new content, including a secret Cube Queen skin, more Fortnite Nightmares items, and even new weapons. Here are the early patch notes.
Season 18 of Fortnite is one of the most content-heavy seasons in recent memory, with significant map changes such as the Cube Convergence in the center of the island and active crossovers including Ariana Grande и resident evil .
Epic Games doesn't stop there, as another update is already in the works a week after the last one. It is expected that at 18.30 will end with the release of fresh content of the fourth week, as well as the Shortnitemares film festival.
Fortnite 18.30 release date and downtime details

Fortnite v18.21 patch downtime expected to begin on Tuesday, October 26, approximately at 1:00 AM PST / 4:00 AM EST / 9:00 AM BST / 10:00 AM CET .
Based on previous Fortnite updates this season, the 18.30 patch downtime could last up to two hours. It all depends on how much content Epic adds to the game this time around.
Fortnite 18.30 Early Patch Notes
The secret skin Queen of Cubes will be unlocked.
The villainous Cube Queen made a dramatic comeback to Fortnite Island in last week's 18.21 update, and is expected to be unveiled this week as Secret Skin Season 18 Battle Pass.
The countdown for the Secret Gear ends on October 28th, after which there should be a set of challenges to unlock it. There are two reward pages for the secret skin, so expect a lot of matching cosmetics.
More Fortnitemares Skins
The 18.30 update kicks off the fourth and final week of Fortnitemares 2021, so players can expect the latest round of Halloween-themed skins and cosmetics to hit the Item Shop.
Insiders have predicted that the long-awaited Shadow Midas skin and possibly a new version of Dusk could arrive this last week. We'll just have to wait and see what gets revealed!
Combat Shotgun vs Boogie Ball
The Creamers shared information that the next vote will be between the Combat Shotgun and the Boogie Ball, a unique item that makes opponents dance for five seconds (or until damaged).
It's likely that this vote will take place after the 18.30 update, so keep your eyes peeled and start hoarding those gold bars.
Shortnitemares Film Festival Details Announced
To coincide with Fortnitemares 2021, Epic have unveiled their third Short Nite Film Festival called Shortnitemares. It will feature several short films based on the "hideous and sinister".
There is no exact date and time yet, but Epic previously confirmed that Shortnitemares will take place during Week 4 of Fortnitemares (that's this week), so details should be made public with the 18.30 update.
Fortnite 18.30 bug fixes
As always, the 18.30 update is expected to feature a number of bug fixes . They're not as exciting as new content, but they're essential to keep Fortnite running smoothly for everyone.
Here are all the bugs that are expected to be fixed in this update:
- Using the Smash Attack ability with a side scythe can cause fall damage.
- The red dot indicator no longer appears on the compass when enemies are shooting.
- Error message when trying to equip certain Tricksy color combinations.
- Trees do not appear on the island map (creative).
- Players can get stuck inside the vault door in the lab dungeon ("Save the World").
