Fortnite Update 14.60 - Description: Venom Arrives, Creative Playlists
Fortnite developer Epic Games has confirmed that Season 4's latest update, patch V14.60, will be released this week. Here's everything you need to know about the November 18th update, including a description, downtime details, and more.
This week will see the final update of Fortnite Season 4, which focuses on the upcoming arrival of the Marvel supervillain Galactus and the long-awaited finale of the Nexus War.
Epic Games has finally announced a new update, and we have a pretty good idea of everything that's coming in the v14.60 patch - from when the next Fortnite update actually rolls out to the live Battle Royale servers.
When will Fortnite 14.60 be released?
Epic Games has officially locked the v14.60 update for Wednesday, November 18th. Downtime will begin at 4:00 AM ET (9:00 UTC, 9:00 BST, 18:00 AEST).
Initially the patch leaked early, thanks to @FortniteCompetitive , who announced that the Venom Cup has been postponed "due to an update 14.60 ". Although the dates were not indicated in the standings, the fact that the tournament was postponed speaks volumes.
Expect a long downtime for patch v14.60. Fortnite matchmaking will be disabled 20-25 minutes before the new Chapter 4 Season 2 update.
Oddly enough, some Xbox players have already reported the early arrival of the patch; updates are already available in the size of about 3 GB. Epic confirmed that they "unexpectedly rolled out [14.60] early" on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Description of the update Fortnite 14.60
Venom debuts in Fortnite
Epic saved the "most formidable" of its Marvel season for last - Spider-Man's terrifying nemesis, Venom; the giant symbiote is finally due in patch 14.60.
Like some of the latest Marvel hero unlocks, including the blind crime fighter Daredevil, the Venom skin and emotes will be available to players who win the Marvel Knockout tournaments held in the final weeks of Fortnite Season XNUMX.
If you rank high in these events, you will be given the Venom skin, as well as the "We Are Venom" emote, a Symbiote Cutter Pickaxe, and a Tote Tendril Back Bling.

We're also expecting a new Venom super that will work similar to Wolverine's ultimate.
Galactus has finally arrived
Since the Fortnite 14.60 update is the last update before the end of Season 4, that can only mean one thing; Galactus will finally arrive and start the Nexus War.
We expect a lot of Galactus and Nexus War resources and elements to be added in this Fortnite patch. This will either be in-game - depending on how early Epic wants to add some teasers - or in code before Season 4's denouement day.
Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 3 is expected to end on Thursday, December XNUMXrd.
End-of-season events usually take place over the weekend, most likely on Saturday. This means that the Galactus event should happen on November 28th.
Creative Hub expands
Epic has added a new set of "community-powered" partner discovery portals to the Creative Hub. These portals will feature combat, a variety of games, and practice matches that have been created by fans in Creative Builder.
Portals will be ranked by popularity and determined by Fortnite voting.
Epic have confirmed that they are also adding a new Creative LTM that will cycle through a large playlist of the best community-created game modes. They will be updated every few days.
"Let's communicate"
In this week's update, you'll be able to see the faces of your friends while you're playing together. Epic has added "an entirely new way to play" using video chat on its Houseparty social network operated by Epic Life on Air.
Sea of Experience, part two
Second batch of tests Sea of Experience arrives this week. “Get your entire squad together and take on these team challenges to complete the battle pass in style,” Epic wrote on informal notes к fortnite patch, released to creators.
Fortnite 14.60 bug fixes
As usual, the Fortnite team has also added a number of bugs and issues to their official Trello board . This week's patch contains only a few fixes, but it will cover battle royale, creative mode, and even Save the World.
Here is the full list of bug fixes in version 14.60:
