New Fortnite Lever Shotgun
Fortnite has introduced a brand new weapon called the Lever Shotgun with the v15.20 update, but are its stats good?
The latest update to Epic Games' popular battle royale has a slew of new game-revamping content, including a wrecked Predator ship in Stronghold and an exotic weapon called Double Gravity Stones.
While these additions are sure to get a lot of attention, the game also has a new common weapon called the Lever Action Shotgun. As the name suggests, it is a close companion to the currently available lever action rifle.
Here's everything we know about the weapon so far, including damage, reload time, and how to find it.
What is a Lever Shotgun?
Shotgun official description from Epic Games looks like this: “Lever-action shotgun. Deals high damage at medium rate of fire. Short range and limited magazine size.”
It seems that this weapon is intended to replace the fan-favorite " Pump Shotgun" , which was removed at the start of Season 5. Many players were disappointed with this decision, so I hope they will be happy with it.
Fun fact: the lever-action shotgun reloads with a rather nice turn animation. Of course, this is purely a visual detail, but it's a nice feature that definitely adds to the coolness of the weapon.
How to get the Lever Shotgun in Fortnite
Luckily, the lever action shotgun is relatively easy to find. Unlike exotic weapon, which requires you to buy it from certain NPCs on the map, this new shotgun will spawn pretty much everywhere you go.
The Lever Action Shotgun can be found lying on the floor or found in chests and drops. It is available in Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary variants.
Is Fortnite's Lever Shotgun Good?
The regular version of the lever action shotgun does 10,4 damage per shot and has a 6,6 second reload time. The legendary version deals 12,1 damage per shot and has a 5,7 second cooldown.
All weapon variants have a magazine size of 6 and use shotgun shells as ammo.

It's worth noting that there are multiple bullets in each shot, so the actual damage it deals is much higher than the numbers you saw in the post before. We will definitely add this weapon to our arsenal.
In the end, whether a good weapon is often a matter of personal preference. However, we may see many Tactical Shotgun and Pump fans moving to the lever-action shotgun in future games.
