New NUSA map in PUBG Mobile: everything you need to know
PUBG Mobile has established itself as one of the most popular action games among gamers around the world. Developers occasionally introduce new things to Battle Royale to add variety to the experience.
Based on a recent announcement during the Fall Finals PUBG Mobile Pro League, the new Battle Royale map, NUSA, will be included in the upcoming major update 2.2 (scheduled for release in September). The new map will be the seventh Battle Royale Classic map to play after Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Livika и Karakina.
The patch notes for the beta were released a few days ago and beta testers from all over the world started testing the new map to find bugs or glitches.
Everything PUBG Mobile players need to know about the new NUSA map
The new NUSA map is designed to enhance the battle royale experience, with its one square kilometer (1x1 km) size resulting in more battles than any other existing map in the game. Each match will have a 32-player lobby and gamers can choose from modes Solo, duo or Squad.
Each match will last 10 minutes and players will have the option to choose between modes TPP or FPP. However, they can also switch between modes if they choose the TPP option.
Players and fans are excited with excitement and are massively searching YouTube for videos from popular gamers who have already tested the new card.
Additional features included in the new NUSA map in PUBG Mobile
Zipline
Similar to the Livik map, Ziplines will be available on the new map, allowing users to glide over uneven terrain.
Automatic recall
Following the success of the recall mechanism in Spider-Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Ancient Secret modes, Auto Recall has been added to the new map. PUBG Mobile players will receive a recall 15 seconds after death (as long as one of their teammates is alive).
Big beach ball
Krafton and Tencent Games have also added a new beach to the NUSA map. Players can visit the beach and play with the big beach ball present there.
New loot boxes
The new PUBG Mobile map will spawn new loot boxes all over the map. These loot boxes will help players get more supplies.
Ponds and pools
Several reservoirs in the form of pools will be present on the new map. Those who bathe in the pools get a boost for their energy meters.
Elevators
Elevators can be seen in the apartments on the island of NUSA. They will help players move up and down the apartments without having to use ladders. Players can easily visit any floor in the building.
It remains to be seen how players will perceive the new map. It will also be some time before the NUSA map is introduced into competitive play at the professional level.
