New World Update 1.1: Void Gloves, New Quests and Enemies, Weapon Updates
Description of the New World 1.1 update, which is already available and has brought a huge amount of new content to the game, which includes the new weapon Void Gloves, new quests and enemies. Here is everything you can expect.
The developers of New World have been busy since the game's release in September 2021, trying to fix all of the game's many exploits and bugs.
Earlier in November, the development team announced a massive game update that they hoped would fix many of its most persistent issues and introduce some drastic updates to the game as a whole.
Those patch notes are finally here and it looks like the developers have delivered on their promise. These are incredibly long posts full of very exciting changes coming to New World.
New World Update 1.1 release date and download size
According to a New World developer post, Into the Void 1.1 will be live on November 18th. Update weighs 7,91 GB, but when you see the full description, it will be quite clear why.
This is the largest update for New World since its release, both in terms of update size and content.
Nether Gloves comes to New World
12th weapon of the game, Void Gloves (Void Gauntlet) making its way to live servers from the PTR in this update.
The weapon uses intelligence and focus to provide a unique combination of healing and DPS, with tons of utility that should make it a lot of fun to use.
Players should start getting Void Gloves with random drops in the same way as other weapons. This can make them a premium in the trading post market at an early stage.
New World Update 1.1: New enemies, quests, weapon upgrades, faster road travel
Players will now face a new enemy, Varangian knights, who appear to be wearing full armor and look very menacing.
They are likely to be found in new quests coming to the game, both in PvP and PvE opportunities. Update 1.1 adds three new PvP quests with titles Control Points, Intercept и War Camp Loot, while a couple of main story quests are also being revisited.
The weapon updates are thorough and can be viewed below in full. But players should generally expect the stronger War Hammer, Spear, and Musket, and the generally weaker Staff of Life, Staff of Fire, and Ice Glove, moving forward.
Oh, and did we mention that players will now also move 10% faster when running on roads? Little things like this, related trading posts, and over 100 bug fixes have somehow managed to fly under the radar due to the sheer volume of these notes.
New World is taking a big step forward with these changes, and the developers deserve some rest!
Due to their volume, full notes will not be written out in the article below. Instead, we encourage readers interested in checking them out in their entirety to go to new world website, to see the full Into the Void fix notes.
