Unexpected Fortnite Update 25.02.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX Fixes Aiming Bugs
On February 25, Fortnite's surprise update was released, addressing some of the issues that came with the Season 2 Chapter 2 big update.
No server downtime is required for this fix as it is just a small fix to address various stability issues. When any major update is released, it is almost inevitable that the introduction of new content will inevitably lead to bugs and crashes.
Even though this is just a small patch, it has fixed some pretty serious issues that have occurred, including issues with sprinting, aiming, and more.
After the Season 2 update went live on February 20th, players immediately started noticing problems with aiming , and some even reported that it worked even through walls or sitting in bushes.
In addition, editing buildings during a sprint has become problematic. These two potentially devastating crashes have been resolved on all platforms with this update on February 25th.
Another controller-only issue has also been fixed: "Pressing the select button on the controller again while entering the Dreaming vault may result in losing the ability to visit the vault until exiting the match or restarting the game."
Finally, an issue with the Corrupted Scratch skin that meant the corrupted style was not actually showing up in the lobby has also been resolved.
These are all known issues addressed in the update, and any other minor stability fixes not publicly flagged.
