Castle
Hollow flower #1:
Before you do anything, jump onto one of the wooden platforms and follow the left path to find the Hollow Flower.
When you regain control, jump up the wooden platforms in front of you and then turn left to examine the glowing tree. This is the Soul Tree and your goal is to go around the area to clear them. As you progress towards the next objective, you will encounter a new type of enemy: the Cascade. They are weak to Bolverkr and not too fast for you to get past them. After their defeat, open the red treasure chest they were guarding to get Physical Attack Boost I Runes.
You will receive a tutorial on equipping runes for your weapon. Behind the chest is warehouse camp. Go through the doorway to the left of the storage camp to find a treasure chest containing Azure Gem x10.
When you cross the bridge past the Storage Camp, you will see a green flower around the middle of the bridge. You must inspect it and cannot continue until you have done so. Unlike Hollow Blossoms, they cannot be understood at first, but you can find a way later.
Keep crossing the bridge to get the Soul Tree clearing tutorial with the L2 button. Doing this works in your favor first, as other enemies may attack the trees if you don't clear them. If the tree is cleared in time, a powerful enemy will be summoned. Some Soppas and Gargoyles will apparently attempt to demonstrate this effect. Clear the tree and then defeat them all to continue.
A lot of enemies will spawn, and summoning Ægon is not a bad idea to purge the enemies. Once they are ready, follow the Soul Tree into the building to find a treasure chest with Elixir (Small) x1. Head up the stairs to the right of the treasure chest to find another treasure chest on the top floor that contains Magic Potion x1.
Hollow flower #2:
After checking the treasure chest on the top floor of the building, turn around and head to the balcony with three tables. You will find the Hollow Flower on the edge of the balcony.
Leave the building and follow the objective marker to find three Cascade enemies. After the victory, go down the stairs to the northwest and cross the bridge to the other side. When you go up the stairs, two Cascade enemies will be waiting for you.
Hollow flower #3:
After defeating Cascade's enemies, turn left and look for the ruined building. You can climb/jump onto the rubble and turn to the northwest corner of the balcony to find a hollow flower. You can also find a treasure chest to the right of the Flower to find Soul Elixir (Small) x1.
Once defeated, turn around and head up the broken stairs to find a treasure chest containing contains Elixir (Small) x1. Go down the stairs and enter the building to the right of the objective marker to find another treasure chest containing contains Emerald Stone x10.
Return to the street and continue to the left to follow the objective marker. Another Tree of Souls will appear, but it will be guarded by a new enemy named Hendur. They are more powerful versions of Scorched Hounewts and one Hendur will try to break your cleanse. Try to avoid it or clear yourself as quickly as possible otherwise you will end up fighting a powerful enemy.
Hollow flower #4:
Head west of the Tree of Souls and look into the building on the left to find a Hollow Flower.
After clearing the Tree of Souls, head left and turn right to enter a building with a treasure chest containing contains Emerald Stone x10.
Head for the Soul Tree and go down the stairs to find storage camp, when you turn left. You will also receive a tutorial on the Einherjar puzzles, which call on Ægon to destroy the obstacle blocking the bridge. Don't forget to fix the obstacle before summoning Ægon, otherwise it won't be destroyed. After destroying an obstacle, you receive a tutorial on calling support, which requires you to have the necessary support skill trained for the call.
When you cross the bridge, Cascade's enemies will be waiting for you on the other side. After the battle, head to the left of the battlefield to find a blue treasure chest containing Divine Art Healing II.
If you head to the right side of the battlefield, you will also find a red treasure chest containing church key.
Hollow flower #5:
To the left of the red treasure chest containing the church key is a hollow flower.
Head to the central door and use the church key to open it. Inside, you will encounter the first wave of Cascade enemies. Once they've been defeated, you'll fight a second wave of Cascade's tougher enemies known as Torrents. Call on Ægon if you're struggling with numbers, as there will be many enemies.
The church will have the last enemy, which is the Kraken. He is significantly stronger than other enemies and has attacks that can hit you from a distance. This is where Divine Fire Arts (Fire Lance/Firestorm) comes in handy. Calling Ægon will also buy you time, as the Kraken will focus on Ægon attacking you if you are not attacking.
Green flower #2:
After the battle, head southwest to find a ladder going up. You will find yourself on the second level of the church, and you can walk along the left side of the second floor. When you can go left into a medium sized room, you will find a green flower in the middle.
After the battle, head west out of the church and watch what happens. Despite meeting with Armand and his offer to guide you, he will not accompany you into the field. Keep on fighting with more enemies divided into two groups. After the battle, follow the path, but check the left side of the tree you are facing to find a treasure chest with Azure Gem x10.
Hollow flower #6:
Follow the objective marker where the path looks like it will definitely go to the left. This is the path, but there is a small gap to the northeast where you can head right and find the Hollow Flower.
Follow the target marker and you will encounter storage camp. Rest and save as needed, then continue on to meet up with Armand. Unfortunately, the scene will play and you will have a boss fight.
Boss Fight: Naglfar Cypher
Cypher has three heads with which he can attack you, his main body and several tails from behind. He may grab you with his head or try to hit you with his tails. Cypher is also capable of charging up on the Valkyrie from a distance.
Each head can shoot water at your current position or bite you for some damage. He can also send his tails underground, shooting them up to damage you. His power is related to Ice and he can turn the battlefield into a cold environment. Cypher can then launch ice projectiles that will attack your last known position as well as the rest of her attacks.
Fire spells (Fire Lance/Fire Storm) will be useful as they are Cypher's weakness. The three heads are also weak spots, although they can be hard to hit. If you deal enough damage to the head, you can cut it off (although this only happens twice).
The strategy is somewhat simple; dodge Cypher's attacks by using Divine Fire Arts to stun/immobilize them. You also want to cut off the left and right heads (the easiest to reach) as this cuts off Cypher's attack. If you need to build Arts Gauge charges, attack the main body instead of the heads; heads are too fast for a consistent target and put you at risk.
Summon Ægon throughout the fight to distract Cypher as much as possible. Cypher is smart enough to attack the Valkyrie over Aegon most of the time, but any extra damage and distraction is worth its weight in gold. Stay mobile and remember to heal as needed. Use the Bolvercr as the Cipher is weak to this weapon.
If Cypher dodges Firestorm too often, switch to Fire Lance. Firestorm has a long range, but Cypher can move around easily, making Fire Lance a suitable spell to use.
If you can figure out Cypher's attack pattern, cut off his heads, and know how to build your Arts Gauge charges, this battle will soon be over.
After the battle, search the white treasure chest containing the weapon in the center of the battlefield Baleygr. The Soul Trees will be in the northwest, northeast and southeast. Clear two trees (order doesn't matter) to watch the scene, then clear the last one when it's over.
Hollow flower #7:
Behind the Tree of Souls, to the left of the white treasure chest (NW), is a wooden platform. Head to the end of the platform to find the Hollow Flower.
Head northeast of the Soul Trees and cross the bridge to get to warehouse camp. Save as needed, then head right and up the stairs. You will be fighting enemies of the Cascade around a giant fountain. After defeating them, head to the right of the fountain into the building where you can find a treasure chest on the left side that contains Emerald Stone x10.
Before heading to the right, you can head to the left of the Storage Camp to find a painted wooden bridge. There is a lever nearby that can pull it down, allowing you to cross. After crossing, you will see two enemies guarding a red treasure chest. Defeat them to open the chest and get Rune of Physical Damage Reduction I.
Hollow flower #8:
To the right of the Hollow Flower treasure chest, near a wall made of pillars.
Go outside the building and go down the stairs to the northwest. Turn left at the bottom and go around the stairs, passing through the passage. Turn right at the end of the passage and you will see a treasure chest that contains Might Potion x1 and Azure Gem x20.
Use Spiritual Concentration with the L3 and R3 buttons and then follow the butterflies that appear. You will pass a bridge with two Hollow Hunters shooting at you. Pull them out and continue to reach the Soul Tree. As you get closer, enemies will start spawning around the tree. Summon Ægon to buy time, then attack the enemies near the tree to take them away. Use Divine Arts if necessary, it will be better than fighting a powerful enemy.
After the battle, head to the left of the tree and go up the stairs. You will see the spirit floating in the center and you will get subquest O' Mine Beloved Land Subquest if you interact with it.
Hollow flower #9:
If you head north of the Soul Tree, you will see a raised drawbridge. Look to the right side of the bridge to find a hollow flower on the ground.
Head northwest of the Soul Tree to find some wooden platforms that form a path that you can jump over. You have to fight the Hollow Hunters that will appear and try to shoot you from the platforms. Defeat them and make your way across.
If you have Spiritual Concentration, you will see the butterflies turn left and go up the stairs. Before following them, head straight ahead to find a group of hunters and Cascade enemies. Defeat them all, then check the southwest corner to find a treasure chest that contains Emerald Stone x10.
Turn around and go up the stairs where the Spiritual Concentration Butterflies climbed. You will see a blue ball that contains slave rags. After capturing them, you can head back to the battlefield and head northeast to cross the bridge (you couldn't do that before you grabbed the slave rags).
Hollow flower #10:
Before you cross the bridge, look to the right to find the Hollow Flower. It will be around the fenced wall, near the steps along the water.
Cross the bridge and you will encounter hunters, torrents and gargoyles. Once you defeat them, head left up the stairs to reach another Soul Tree that has no enemies. Return to the battlefield and climb the stairs to the northeast to reach warehouse camp, where you can relax. There is also a treasure chest next to the storage camp, which contains contains Soul Elixir (Small) x1.
Hollow flower #11:
To the left of the Storage Camp is the Hollow Flower.
If you pass by the Storage Camp, you will find a group of Gargoyles and Torrents supported by the Purple Dragon. Defeat them all and you can access the blue treasure chest in the southeast which contains Ambrosia x1.
Use Spiritual Concentration and follow the butterflies to the northern part of the battlefield, jumping over the water to get to the other side. This will update your map to include the new area.
Follow the butterflies into the building and you'll be fighting some Cascade and Torrent enemies. After winning head left to get to the exit. When you exit the exit, head northwest to find a blue treasure chest that contains Divine Art of Mortal Suppression.
Hollow flower #12:
Before following the butterflies into the building, head to the right to find a Hollow Flower next to some rubble.
Look along the edge of the platform for wooden platforms and rubble that you can jump over to the other side. As you keep moving forward, you will be stopped by two torrents. After the fight head left and you can see warehouse camp, where you can relax. On the right, you will find a building containing a blue orb. This ball has an item Brotherhood Earrings.
Hollow flower #13:
Southwest of the Storage Camp there will be a Hollow Flower on a narrow path.
Hollow flower #14:
If you head right past the building with the blue orb, you will come across a broken bridge. The hollow flower is nearby on the ground.
Head to the left of the Storage Camp and make your way through the wooden platforms. Hollow Hunters will appear and try to shoot you; defeat them and keep going. Take your time when you cross as you may be hit by a stray arrow.
When you cross the bridge, there will be a Kraken and two Torrent enemies. Summoning Ægon would be a good idea, along with using Bolvercree and your Divine Fire Arts.
Go up the stairs and to the left after the fight. The map will expand again and you will find storage camp, where you can relax. Continue to the Ettiliano Palace.
Palace of Ettiliano
When you arrive, you will see a red treasure chest nearby. open it to get servant entry key.
With the key, you can head to the right of the storage camp and open the door. You will face Cascade and Torrent enemies as soon as you go inside. Once defeated, head left and go through the door to fight more of Torrent's enemies along with the Gargoyles. Walk past them and you'll see a ladder on the left, but you can look to the right to find a treasure chest that contains Emerald Stone x10.
Climb up the ladder and interact with the door on the left to open it. As you spawn, you will have to fight Mortal Ax Master and Soul Guardian. Head past them and up the next flight of stairs, activating the lever at the top to get through. When you pass the gate, new enemies Torrent and Guardian will be waiting for you.
After the battle, go up the left or right stairs to find the spirit. Talk to him to get the subquest "The penetrating eye of an old man».
Go back down the stairs and go through the middle entrance to get to warehouse camp. Go up the stairs and turn towards the railing. You will see a treasure chest on the platform along with a Hollow Flower. Equip Alfodr and double jump as far as possible to the platform, then use the square > square > square > triangle air combo to land on the other side. This allows you to reach the treasure chest which contains Elixir (Medium) x1.
Hollow flower #15:
At the Storage Camp, go up the stairs and turn around to see the Hollow Flower on the far platform. Joke on Alphodra and double jump as far as you can to the platform, then use square > square > square > triangle to land on the other side. This will allow you to reach the Hollow Flower.
Jump back down and go past the Storage Camp, which will spawn some Torrent enemies and a Soul Guardian. There will be two waves of enemies and you may want to call on Ægon to help ease the situation. After the fight, head northeast and go down the stairs. Follow the path to the room on the left and you'll find a blue orb to the northeast. It contains the element Plague Cure, and you can't progress further until you get it.
You will be transported to the ice version of the Castle and a tutorial will appear about the arrows attacking the Valkyrie. Exit the room and approach the image of Cypher. Turn left and continue forward, with two Torrent enemies blocking your path. Defeat them and follow the image of Cypher, then turn left and go down the stairs to find the next image.
Keep following the path and you will encounter two Torrents and a Purple Dragon. Defeat them and go down the corridor, turning right and going down the stairs. You will reach some prison cells and you can look around the northwest cell to find a blue orb containing worn abacus.
You will be able to equip Cypher as an Einherjar after the scene. It will automatically be equipped to display R1 + Circle, although you can change this if you wish. A blue treasure chest will spawn nearby containing Divine Art Graveyard II. Take the adjacent pillar of light back to Wahalla (appearing in the hallway of the prison cell).
When you return to Valhalla, head west and speak with Aegon outside the training ground to receive Comrade Commendation (1) Subquest. Report to Odin to start Chapter 4: Sacrifices of the Gods. You can also spend time completing some subquests.
