Modern Warfare & Warzone Season 4: Weapons, Maps, Operators
Modern Warfare Season 4 is just around the corner, so everything you can expect is here when it drops, from the Warzone map to new weapons and operatives.
season 4 release date
Modern Warfare Season 4 will be released Tuesday, June 2 . The current Season XNUMX Battle Pass also expires on this date. Infinity Ward releases updates at the end of the day to minimize inconvenience to players.
We can expect the update to be quite significant based on past fixes and the amount of new content expected. If you need to remove part of a game to make room for an update, check out our guide to deleting a Modern Warfare or Spec Ops campaign .
season 4 new weapons
At the top of many lists are the new weapons coming in Season 4. We have already seen the leak of information about Galilee and Vector when some insiders offer in-game views the form they will take. As a rule, new weapons will be unlocked after the completion of the game task.
However, more late Modern Warfare leaks indicate that the new sniper rifle, Rytek AMR и blades Akimbo will appear in season 4. It looks like the vector will not be called a vector, but will be renamed to Fennec .
New maps in Modern Warfare
Along with new weapons, fans are expecting new cards as the season progresses. Information about the maps that we expect to see in Season 4 is known from official teasers released by Activision, which show the map scrapyard , which was originally introduced in MW2.
It certainly fits with the maps we've already seen added to Modern Warfare, many of which have appeared in other Call of Duty games. We can also expect new Gunfight map, so how the last couple of seasons have brought new 2v2 conditions with them.
Scrapyard is already technically in Modern Warfare as it makes up Boneyard on the Verdansk map.
New Operative: Captain Price
We also confirmed that Captain Price will return in the 4th season. This will likely affect both Warzone and multiplayer as Price becomes playable in both. The SAS employee has become a legend in Call of Duty circles. There was actually Captain Price in the original Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2, but he became truly iconic with his CoD 4 version.
Combat Zone Changes
Finally, we'll take a look at the changes to Warzone that are likely to come in Season 4. First of all, this Duos , one of the most requested game modes, which Infinity Ward has confirmed will be coming after bug fixes.
Also, at one point in the trailer, the Illusive Man can be heard informing Price that there is "something wrong" in Verdansk, which is apparently a direct reference to the map used in Warzone. The leaks in particular focus on the map's dam, which is likely to be destroyed or destroyed in some way.
This change seems to have been teased for a long time. and the Modern Warfare menu showed water coming out of the dam . If all this was destroyed, we would see large parts of Verdansk submerged under water.
The weapon pool found in Warzone is also likely to change, meaning the main guns littered all over the map will be updated. It goes without saying that any new weapons added will be available in the Warzone via Supply Drops.
New CoD 2020 information?
We have already seen hints of Call of Duty 2020, which is rumored to be called "Black Ops: Cold War" in the war zone. Deconstructed RC-XDs have been found all over the map, as evidenced by Treyarch's "Black Ops Soft Reboot".
Given CoD's tendency to hint at future games in a previous headline, we can expect new Easter eggs and teasers in Modern Warfare to give us some clues in next year's Call of Duty game.
We will, of course, update you on all the changes that have been made in the Season 4 update, some of which have yet to be announced.
