Metro Exodus: Sam's Story - All Endings (Good and Bad)
This post contains information about all the possible endings in the addition to Metro Exodus: Sam's Story.
As in the main storyline, throughout the game you can make different decisions that one way or another will lead to certain consequences that will directly affect how you finish the Sam's Story expansion. Our choices will lead you to either the Good or the Bad Ending. There is no third! Flashes will fire (the screen will turn white). But in spite of everything, this does not affect anything! The only thing that will remain unchanged is that the Captain will hand Sam the detonator anyway and ask him to make a decision.
You can get two endings:
Bad Ending Metro Exodus: Sam's Story
Sultan chose: A key
Experience the Power of Effective Results: The submarine explodes and sinks. The entire team, including the Captain and Tom, is killed! Sam returns to Vladivostok, full of internal anguish about the correctness of his choice at that fateful moment. Sam does not lose hope to return to San Diego.
Sam's thoughts:
- “I did what I did for the last twenty years,
- —… saving the world…
- “The captain sacrificed himself so as not to resurrect the specter of nuclear war.
- — If I had not pressed the button, I would have received my ticket home.
- — but at what cost?
Good Ending Metro Exodus: Sam's Story
Sultan chose: D key
Experience the Power of Effective Results: The boat stays afloat while the detonator sinks to the bottom. Sam is in rehab as the sub moves to the shores of North America. After a while, Sam will return to San Diego. Again, he feels no guilt, because the price he paid was worth it to return to his homeland.
Sam's thoughts:
- - I was a stranger in Moscow, and even more so here, where I have no friends.
- Tom offered me his hand.
- “So what if this hand can press a button?”
- “There won't be another nuclear war, the old world is already dead.
- — I don't think any price would be too high for a ticket home.
- “Especially since I'm not the only one paying the bill.
- “I hope to see my dad, that's all I have left.
- Everything I dreamed about...
- - All these years …
