Unlike posters, Playboy magazines are chapter-specific, meaning you can't go back and find them later. If you miss them you will have to reload the chapter in question, we recommend waiting until you finish the game (or at least finish any chapter you are currently playing so that your last save is not overwritten.
Chapter 1
There are no Playboy magazines in the first chapter.
Chapter 2
Journal 1: Your very first issue of Playboy is on the coffee table at Joe Barbaro's house. Be sure to take it before you go outside with it.
Journal 3: When Joe drives you to meet Mike Bruschi, look across the yard for Bruschi's office and a giant car crusher. You will see a building with a garage door and one door. Once inside, look to the right. You will see the next number on the shelf.
Chapter 3
Journal 18: When you exit Derek's office, look on the floor to the left of the door. You will find the magazine that Steve was reading just a few minutes ago.
Journal 4: When you enter Maria Agnello's apartment building, look to the left of the shelves directly opposite the door. You will find a magazine on the floor.
Journal 40: After you break into the building, you'll find the magazine on the corner of the guard's desk in the lobby.
Journal 6: Facing the back of the guard's desk, turn left and go straight to the hallway. Open the doors and go through the next corridor until you reach the blue door. Open it and go down the stairs. You will enter a hallway (here you will also find the alarm if you want to turn it off). Head to the far side where you will find this another door. Go inside and go left.
Journal 5: When you get to the director's office (you need the key needed to access the room with the safe), go through the hall and find the office. Look for the magazine on the windowsill immediately to your right.
Chapter 4
Journal 9: After a short firefight in the small bookstore, follow Joe through the door and up the stairs. At the top of this ladder, you will find the next Playboy.
Journal 2: Immediately after receiving the previous magazine, Joe will yell at you about the stairs. Instead, go to the left of the stairs. Turn right when you reach the entrance area and you will see a magazine hiding against the wall.
Journal 8: After the firefight with the cops on the roof, follow Joe through this door. Go left and run straight ahead. The next number is on the floor next to the set of shelves.
Journal 7: Back at Joe's house, don't go inside. Instead, head down the stairs to the lobby gate. The next number is waiting for you on the floor next to them.
Chapter 5
Journal 11: When Joe and Henry are downstairs at the beginning of the firefight, don't follow them. Instead, go upstairs. You will find the next Playboy at the top of the stairs, next to the apartment door.
Journal 10: When you reach the end of the first floor of the distillery warehouse, you will see a small office on the left. Go inside. Look to the right. The next issue is on the shelf.
Journal 12: The next room is on the floor next to a pair of wooden chairs.
Chapter 6
Journal 13: After you finally get free to explore the prison yard, look to the right at the bleachers in the alcove. Go around them, you will find that the prisoner is sleeping. The magazine is at his feet.
Journal 14: Walk from those bleachers through the basketball court and you'll see a barn to the left of the watchtower. Head towards him. Go to the far side of the barn and you will see the next release.
Journal 15: The next issue will appear later in this chapter, after you find yourself in the laundry room. Face the entrance to the room and turn left. You will see the following release on one of the machines. Grab it before heading out to meet your visitor.
Chapter 7
Journal 50: Go to Joe's house, but don't go to him yet. Instead, go up the stairs to the top floor and go down the hallway.
Journal 16: At some point in the chapter, visit Harry's Army/Navy weapon shop. On the floor by the stairs, directly opposite the shop counter.
Journal 17: Vito's new neighbors have a bad habit of leaving their magazines outdoors. Look on the table on the second floor of Vito's new house.
Chapter 8
Journal 46: A magazine on the kitchen table in your apartment. Take it before you hit the road.
Journal 19: After you make your way through the first wave at the foundry, your team will turn the corner and you will see this shack on the left. Turn left inside.
Journal 21: At the end of the level, go to the catwalk, look next to a couple of barrels.
Journal 20: Vito and Joe decide to steal a couple of cars. Before you leave, go left up this staircase. You will find yourself in an alley filled with garbage. There is also a dwelling there, enter it. Next to the mattress you will find the next issue.
Chapter 9
Journal 41: After talking to Eddie, take a look at the bar. You will find the next issue there.
Journal 23: You will see a tunnel. Go into it, at the end you will find a magazine.
Journal 22: Go into the first room (which has a sleeping worker), you will find a journal between a trash can and a pile of coal.
Journal 24: Find a room where one worker is talking to another about acting vocals. Stick to the wall on the right, next to it you will find the next issue.
Chapter 10
Journal 25: When you get to the hotel garage, Joe will stand and wait for someone to open the door. While he is doing this, go to the left of the locked door. Enter a corridor full of industrial dryers, turn left at the next doorway. Walk forward a little. Look left. Look on the corner of the table at the far end of the room.
Journal 27: After Joe has planted the bomb, you will be asked to follow him up the stairs. Walk down instead. At the bottom you will find a metal gate blocking the path.
Journal 26: Before pressing the switch to raise the platform, look to the right. You will see the next number lying on the floor, partially hidden by the railing.
Journal 48: When you finish at the hotel and return to Vito, look at the floor in his bathroom. When Vito left the house at the beginning of the chapter, this was not the case.
Chapter 11
Journal 47: When you sneak around the house with Leo, go through this door next to his desk. You will see the next number on the windowsill.
Journal 29: Immediately after the previous one, go to Leo's bedroom. Then go through the door to your right, then left to the bathroom. The magazine is on a basket opposite the door. Note that if you get caught, you can either "retry the mission" or just continue freely exploring the mansion.
Journal 28: When you enter the apartment where Vito confronts Eric, you will see a door. On the other side, you will see an unconscious guy with magazines stacked around him.
Journal 49: Look next to Joe's bed.
Journal 30: After you have shot all the enemies in the King of Tara pub, go through the double doors at the back of the establishment, next to the bar. You will find yourself in a hallway with the next issue of Playboy lying on the floor.
Chapter 12
Journal 33: Immediately after the firefight starts, you will run up the stairs. Go into the narrow corridor, you will see a magazine lying on the floor to your right.
Journal 31: After the shootout in the warehouse, you will find yourself at the loading dock. Turn left and go down this ladder. Walk down this alley. At the end of the alley, look left. The magazine will be hidden next to the overgrown trash can (you can also find it at the beginning of the stage).
Journal 32: From the loading dock, head towards the center of the courtyard and turn right after passing the truck. Walk right past the gas pumps and you'll see a container ship parked next to another loading dock. The next Playboy lies right behind him.
Chapter 13
Journal 34: After you take out the enemies in the restaurant, go up the stairs to the far end of the room and go left. Turn left again at the top of the stairs and run to the end of the balcony section. The next issue will be on the booth at the end, on your right.
Journal 36: After passing the huge statue of Buddha, you will go down the stairs to the lair. Go to the small room you see on the left.
Journal 35: When Vito and Joe make their way through the basement, you will stumble upon this room where the masked workers are. Joe silently shoots a guard who comes out of a room full of weapons. Go to this room. The next Playboy will be on your right, on the filing shelf.
Chapter 14
Journal 44: After you and Joe are at the construction site and kill all three guards, you will notice a small catwalk next to the stairs. Look to the right. Go there, you will find the next Playboy around the corner.
Journal 37: After a while, you will go down the stairs guarded by several bandits. Below you will be attacked by a guy with a shotgun, after which someone will throw a Molotov and block your path with fire. From above, turn left. The next number is on a pallet against the wall.
Journal 38: Jump over the barrier. Once the path is clear, keep right and head towards the unfinished doorway. From there, go straight to the other side of the room, where you will find the next room in the corner.
Chapter 15
Journal 45: In the observatory, you will come across this room. Move the barrier and go down. The next number will be downstairs, opposite the stairs.
Journal 39: Soon you will reach the roof. Don't go inside yet, instead go to the right of the entrance. You will see a small terrace around the corner.
Journal 43: Go forward to the room with the telescope. Go around the left side of the telescope, you will see a magazine next to the stair railing.
Journal 42: During the last battle in the planetarium, go to the projector as soon as the path is clear. Make your way through the barrier around it, you will find the final playboy game.
