The best Roblox games of all time. Top 10 Roblox Games Today (August 2023)
With literally millions of user-created Roblox games to choose from, finding a good experience can be a daunting task, which is why we've compiled this list of the best Roblox games that all Roblox fans love.
Top Roblox games:
- adopt me!
- Aqualina water park
- Brookhaven PR
- Easy Obby!
- Secret murder 2
- Run from object
- Royal High
- Epic mini-games
- Work in a pizzeria
- Hide and Seek Extreme
There are some caveats to this list: basically, I will only be looking at games that you can play for free. That is, those games that require the Robux currency to download do not count, although payment is a great way to thank the developers for their efforts, but we are going to focus on those that require you to have less commitment - although, fortunately, most of the really good games on the platform is still free. However, most of these games have optional microtransactions, so keep that in mind.
Not to say that these recommended games are masterpieces. Gems worth playing in any selection of games aren't always perfect, and they're just great ideas to enjoy despite their bumpiness. So, in no particular order, here are our recommendations.
adopt me!
It will be difficult for you to argue that " Tame me!" DreamCraft doesn't claim to be the biggest game on Roblox right now. While it's aimed at a slightly younger audience than most games on the platform, it's understandable if older players want to see what all the fuss is about - not to mention that the heavy focus on microtransactions will make parents want to check out. this game before their children start playing.
Adopt Me! is an RPG ostensibly about parents and their stepchildren, but the game's current focus is on collectible pets. At this point, the list of pets has expanded far beyond the mainstream of cute dogs and cats, and you can now adopt just about any animal you want, right down to sea creatures, as part of the game's partnership with the whale and dolphin conservation charity. .
Other notable crossovers included the Scooby-Doo event, and if that's not proof that this game has serious credentials, I don't know what else would.
Aqualina Water Park
For my comrades who are passionate about water procedures, who are threatened with the prospect of not going to the sea due to a pandemic for 2 years in a row, aqualina water park could very well be a healthy dose of escapism you didn't even know existed.
Meet your friends in this affectionate recreation of the water parks of yore. Aqualina Waterpark is both a social hub where you can just hang out with other players and home to an ever-growing series of themed water park mini-games, the latest of which was added in an update in early July.
This beautiful game by @TheRevali is so detailed that you will momentarily forget how much time has passed since you visited the real thing.
Brookhaven PR
A little over a year after launch Brookhaven PR by @Wolfpaq Pretty young for a Roblox mainstay but quickly starting to catch up with even Adopt Me!
Like many other popular Roblox games, Brookhaven RP is classified under the "Town & City" genre: a Sims-like game that combines building with a naturalistic RPG game. Unlike many other similar games, Brookhaven RP encourages players to abandon the cute platform style and focus on creating a luxurious life for their avatars.
A recent update added themed houses for groups of players to play together, such as college-style Greek houses. This young adult-focused fantasy is a perfect example of Brookhaven RP's unique selling point as a more mature take on Roblox RPGs.
Easy Obby!
Obstacle courses are the cornerstone of Roblox and arguably the most mainstream (unofficial) genre on the platform. With so many obbies competing for players, the creators of Roblox often outdo themselves in creating the most brutal courses they can think of.
Easy Obby! from @zknx - the exact opposite. It focuses on bright colorful fun rather than making you tear your hair out - and as such is a great introduction to the obbi genre.
The map has only been around since November 2020, but Easy Obby! already has 50 stages and is still receiving regular content updates based on community feedback. This is a great place to get involved in the small (but fast growing) Roblox community.
Secret murder 2
No discussion of the best games on Roblox right now would be complete without mentioning Murder mystery 2 by @Nikilis. It has been around since 2014 and is one of the oldest games on the platform that is still actively maintained. Its recent resurgence in popularity is likely due in part to the social deduction trend sparked by last year's Among Us renaissance.
Fans of social deduction games will be familiar with the basic concept. In each round, players are secretly assigned a role: Killer, Sheriff, or Innocent. The killer seeks to eliminate the Innocents and evade the sheriff; The Sheriff seeks to kill the Killer; and up to ten Innocents try to evade the Killer and help the Sheriff.
There are many games of this type these days, but Murder Mystery 2 has been around for a long time and this pedigree shows. It's a truly fun experience that can give Among Us the opportunity to spend its money in terms of tense social encounters and unexpected moments of fun.
Flee the Facility
For a platform aimed primarily at teens, Roblox has a surprisingly good position in truly creepy horror games.
The overall "Run the Object" vibe will be familiar to anyone who has devoted too many hours to the SCP Wiki and related fan games. But there's also a certain vibe to Evil Dead Friday, the thirteenth in the latest update, which marks the game's fourth anniversary with the addition of a spooky summer camp map.
In terms of gameplay, this is a case of dodging various monsters as you open exits, with the ultimate goal of (you guessed it) escaping the spooky research facility! It's sort of a journey through the most popular horror game genres of the last few years, and it's obviously been designed with a lot of love for the genre.
Royal High
There are quite a few games on Roblox that have either spawned their own line of toys or feel like they should. Unfortunately, at Royal High doesn't have its own series of dolls (yet), but the aesthetic and gameplay will appeal to fans of Barbie, Bratz, Monster High or Lego Friends.
If you're struggling to choose between playing as a royal or playing as a cute creature of the night, @callmehbob's Royale High invites you to try your hand at both. It's part boarding school role-playing game, part supernatural adventure game, and it challenges you to balance your character's responsibilities of completing school assignments, maintaining friendships, and developing his magical powers.
With a regular update calendar, including seasonal events and frequent new mini-games, Royale High goes way beyond its original outfit and is surprisingly easy to spend a lot of time on.
Epic minigames
Not every Roblox experience needs to be tied to a central theme. If you're looking for something casual to play with but don't want to spend hours rummaging through different games, Epic Minigames by @TypicalType might be what you need.
As the name suggests, this game is made up of many smaller games (111 at the time of writing) that share a common leveling system and currency, but are otherwise unrelated. As you play, you earn coins that can be redeemed for in-game cosmetic rewards, but the focus is on short-term fun rather than long-term role-playing.
Work in a pizzeria
The games have been around since 2008 and are almost as old as Roblox itself - no small feat on a platform that has changed almost beyond recognition in its fifteen years of existence. Work in a pizzeria by @Dued1 is the definition of an old favorite that never strays far from the list of the most played Roblox games.
It's another Sims-like RPG with one key difference: instead of choosing your character's job, you and the other players on the server take on the roles of a group of colleagues who work at the titular pizzeria. You will need to work together to keep the establishment running smoothly and keep your customers happy. Do an honest day's work for an honest day's pay, and at the end your Sim can go home and upgrade their house with nicer furniture and other personalized upgrades.
Hide and Seek Extreme
Sometimes the simplest concepts are really the most fun, and Hide and Seek Extreme by @Tim7775 brings popular playground fun to Roblox with very little change. One player per round is randomly assigned the role of "It" and it is their job to find the other players assigned to hide.
That's not to say there aren't improvements: the It player can use special abilities to help them find their friends' hiding places more easily. This alone makes it clearly better than real hide and seek games, since in my experience it is much more difficult to improve skills in the real world.
All of the adorable game cards are based on giant versions of everyday home spaces like kitchens, living rooms, and tool sheds. The whole game looks very nice and is just fun to play with a few friends.
