How to get a treasure compass
Anemo compass - The blueprint is unlocked after reaching the 6th level of reputation in Mondstadt, and then you can create it.
Geo compass - The blueprint is unlocked after reaching the 6th level of reputation in Li Yue, and then you can create it.
To unlock the blueprints for the Treasure Compasses, you must reach reputation level 6 with Mondstadt and Li Yue. You can raise your reputation by completing quests and earning Rewards in one of the regions.
Choose Mondstadt or Li Yue
Since the number of requests and contracts that you can complete per week is distributed among the regions, we highly recommend choosing a region to focus on first .

How to use the treasure compass
Treasure compasses can detect nearby unclaimed treasure chests and guide you to them with a golden wind effect. If you find a treasure while using it, it has cooldown 30 seconds , but if there were no treasure chests nearby, he only needs 5 seconds to reset .
As in the case of resonance stones , each region has its own treasure compass. These devices will only work in their respective areas, so choose carefully the region you want to focus on.

General Tips
Recommended use of treasure compasses
We recommend using the treasure compass in an area where you've collected most of the obvious treasure chest but haven't fully combed through it yet. Using a compass in a place where treasure chests are clearly visible will be a waste of your precious resources!
Check your achievements
You can also decide which region to focus on based on the number of treasure chests you have found so far. Especially if you're close to hitting a target in an area, this might be the best way to get there fast!
You can see the number of treasure chests you have found in the achievement sections of Mondstadt: City of Wind and Song and Li Yue: Harbor of Stone and Contracts.
When a new region is created
It would be nice to aim for reputation level 6 in completely new areas, especially if you are already familiar with Mondstadt and Li Yue and have all the achievements.
However, since you will likely have to reach level 6 reputation for an area before you can unlock the blueprint, it can take quite a long time to get it.
Dependence on materials and reputation
If it takes a long time to reach reputation level 6, putting off collecting treasure chests until you have them is a bad idea. Similarly, if compasses require rare and valuable materials, it may be better to save them and go on a treasure hunt yourself or rely on our maps.
