A comic can be found in Fortnite Battle Royale that explains how the Marvel characters arrived on the island.
Epic has partnered with both Marvel and DC Comics in the past, and the bonus skin for Season 2 Fortnite Chapter 3 was the DC Aquaman skin. There were rumors that Season 4 would be based on Marvel skins, but Epic didn't confirm it until yesterday.
There's a new comic in Fortnite Battle Royale where you can see the story of how the Marvel characters will arrive on the island.
FORTNITE COMIC
Right in the game menu, the Comic tab appeared, and here's what it contains.
THE HERALD, THOR AND GALACTUS IN FORTNITE
Some Fortnite fans were concerned that there would be no storyline for Fortnite and that these superheroes added to Fortnite would ruin the storyline that Epic is known to have in the game. However, Donald Mustard, creative director for Epic Games worldwide, assured fans that the storyline is indeed connected.
If you download the game, you will see an alert “The Messenger has found the Island. The prelude to war has begun. #FortniteSeason4"
If you read this comic, you will see how the Marvel heroes Herald, Thor, and Galactus made it to Fortnite Island. Here is a video from the comic:
The content creators also received the following teaser via email, called Fortnite - Prelude to War:
If you are currently playing a Fortnite game, you will see that there is a rift in the sky, the same rift that is visible at the end of page 2 of the comic.
