When will Fortnite Season 18 start? Season 17 End Date
There's not much time left for Fortnut Season 17 as it draws to a close, and players are already looking ahead and waiting for Season 18 to begin, as well as all the new features and storylines it will bring.
Season 17 of Invasion came out of nowhere but was a welcome surprise for fans of the battle royale. The map has gone through several changes, and the skins in the battle pass are some of the best we've seen in quite some time.
It's safe to say that players had more than enough content to last through the rest of the summer, but with only a few weeks left until the current season, attention naturally turns to the future and the fact that Season 18 Fortnite has prepared for the players.
Fortnite season 17 end date
According to a famous Fortnite insider hypex, Chapter 7 Season 2 (Season 17) of Fortnite will end 12 September 2021 years which is the same as the expiration date of the current Battle Pass.
This is just a nod to the new season, which could potentially include a Halloween-themed Battle Pass as Season 18 fills the fall months into winter 2021.
Season 7 ends on September 12th!

Keep in mind that there is always a chance that this season's end date will be extended, as has happened in the past. Therefore, although this date is accurate as of today, there may still be some factors that can change it.
When does Fortnite season 18 start?
Fortnite season 18 is expected to start 13 September 2021 year. There is always a decent downtime period between seasons, so it makes sense that Season 18 would start the day after Season 17 ended.
It all depends on how Epic has prepared for the release of the current season and whether the studio is ready to launch a new stage on time. However, we keep our fingers crossed and hope that everything goes smoothly for the developers and there will be no delays.

Fortnite Season 18 Theme
It's always difficult to predict what the theme of the new season of Fortnite will be, as Epic constantly surprises players with its unpredictability. For example, no one expected Season 16's primal theme of dinosaurs.
However, based on recent leaks and hints, we can make some educated guesses. One of the biggest rumors is that Kevin Cube will return for Season 18, as Donald Mustard himself (head of Epic Games) has made it clear!
The return of the cube would probably be enough for an entire season, as the mystery surrounding the Fortnite Universe Mystery Item kept players interested for years, as the cube shattered parts of the map and eventually disappeared.
However, there's also the potential for it to be a Halloween themed season, as October 31st and All Saints' Day falls right in the middle of Season 18. Fortnite usually actively celebrates the spooky coven, so this theme is highly likely.
The latest theory is that season 18 will revolve around ninjas or something. Why? Well, a recent leak claimed that Epic Games was able to get the rights to the Naruto anime icon and they apparently want to include it in the next Battle Pass.
The insider who told us about the ninja correctly predicted many things, such as Ariana Grande concert, and another recent report said that Epic actually signed a contract with Shueisha (a major manga publisher in Japan), so we hope all this turns out to be true!
