Cards FIFA 23 coins TOTY and the promo in general will be the biggest event of the year and it will bring a lot of exciting content for all players in the Ultimate Team mode. It is usually viewed by many as the biggest in-game event and that trend is not going to change anytime soon.
The upcoming promotion will feature cards of football players who will be recognized as the best in 2022. EA Sports will be releasing their special cards in a variety of ways to celebrate their accomplishments across all gaming events.
The most important information for FIFA 23 players will be the date and time the TOTY promotion starts. This ensures that they receive all the important events, which in turn can hinder their potential for various rewards. While no official timeline has been announced at the time of writing, guesswork can be made based on incidents in the past.

The primary responsibility for FIFA 23 Ultimate Team players will be to capitalize on all the events and claim as many rewards as possible. This will largely depend on how well players can maximize the various events and use the resources they have on hand.
The first thing to do is to wait for the event to start, which will most likely start as soon as the ongoing FUT Centurions promotion ends. The FUT Centurions Promotion Team 2 was released on January 13th and will continue until the daily update on January 20th.
Once the current promotion expires, TOTY items should appear in Ultimate Team mode. While there is always a chance that a new promotion could be introduced on January 20th, this seems extremely unlikely. Moreover, most of the community believes that the much coveted cards will start appearing on January 20th.
This is a reasonable date given that January 20th is a Friday, as all promotions tend to start on that day of the week. Also, it was a tradition that EA Sports sticks to and there were no changes in FIFA 23. Hence, players will be able to get these special cards quickly from the time of writing.
As a rule, each promotion falls at 18:00 UK time on Fridays, and the same can happen with TOTY cards. Players in the United States can enjoy the cards from 10:00 AM PT / 13:00 PM ET. Gamers in India will have to wait until 23:30 PM when the promo is expected to go live, while in Russia, expect the reveal to be at 21:00 PM ET.
The only exception to this schedule was the FUT Road to the FIFA World Cup promotion, which was released a couple of hours earlier. However, there is no expectation of a repeat of this in the coming days.
If EA Sports follows the same pattern as previous years, unique cards for each significant position will be released in the first week, followed by TOTY starting at XI. Voting for the promotion is ongoing and it will be interesting to see which players end up getting their special versions in FIFA 23.
