How to turn off the car alarm in Phasmophobia

Being a paranormal investigator is not easy, because when you hunt ghosts, they also hunt you. It's hard to watch your back if the creature that's hunting you most of the time is invisible, seems horribly unfair. Speaking of injustice, the ghosts in Phasmophobia love to play pranks on you in an attempt to distract you from them for a few minutes. One of those things they like to do is set up a car alarm that will work until you go and turn it off. Here's how to turn off the car alarm in Phasmophobia.

Please note that this noisy feature does not occur on every map, but only on those with vehicles outside the building. Fortunately, not every ghost can set off a car alarm! But those who can, can do it at a distance of up to 2 meters. You might think that car alarms are just going to get annoying and that you can live with them, well, that's not all. How can you talk to a ghost if you can't hear it? How can you hear noises like footsteps if you can't hear them? When your team hears an alarm, it should be your first priority.

Your first step is to find your car keys. They are usually located near the entrance to the property, so look for a bowl or hanger. They will rarely be found anywhere else. Once found, left click on them to pick them up, then run outside and stand next to the car. Find the keys in your inventory and left click them to disable the alarm.

We're not sure if Phasmophobia has a preferred place to stay, such as the driver's side door, but we do recommend standing as close to the car as possible.

Also, if you're quick enough to find the keys and jump outside, the ghost might still be there, so quickly explore the area and you might succeed and collect some much-needed clues! Although this must be done within 10 seconds, otherwise this ghost will be already far away!
