How to Use Genshin Impact's Preload Feature on PC, iOS, and Android

To make your game even more interesting, the development team will start testing the game's preload feature very soon.
Version 1.3 preload testing will be available on PC and mobile platforms.

Preload start time: 
2021-02-01 11:00:00 (before update to version 1.3, UTC+8)

Travelers using a PC will be able to play while preloading. Since downloading may require a certain amount of network bandwidth, we recommend downloading under conditions of stable Internet access.
Mobile users will not be able to play during the preload, so we recommend that Adventurers complete any challenges or dungeons they have started beforehand.

Once the download is complete, Travelers will be able to install the new version and experience the new content as soon as possible.

Update method PC

After the feature becomes available, you must first update the bootloader. After that, in the bootloader menu, to the left of the "Start Game" button, the "Game Preload" button will appear. Click on it to get the update package.

After the preload is completed during a program update, reopen the bootloader and click the Update button. The download will be skipped and the installation will begin.
Travelers who have not fully downloaded the update can re-open the bootloader and click the "Update" button, and the download process will continue from where it left off.
