To get the Wire in Sons of the Forest, you need to head west of the snowy mountains, south of the river that flows east to west and cuts through the island. You are looking for a small cave next to a stream and you will enter and drive a short distance to find a room that has a desk and laptop and a 3D printer. This room contains wire that you can grab along with resin that can be used to craft items with the 3D printer. You can also look for carbon fiber arrows and batteries in this room.
