Fortnite Season 6 brought a number of significant changes to Chapter 2, including a brand new crafting system. You can craft a handy Hunter Cloak.
By upgrading your improvised weapons to primal or classic weapons capable of much more damage, the crafting system actually offers a lot more than just better guns.
One of the tasks of experience in season 6 is to create a hunter's cape, and besides helping you earn more experience for your battle pass, it is also very useful to use.
How to make a hunter cape in Fortnite
Craft a hunter's cloak in 1Season 6 Fortnite it's actually very simple, and you'll need to fight some of the new wild animals available on the map.
Whether it's a wolf, a chicken, or a boar, you'll need to eliminate a few animals in order to get to work on the Hunter's Cloak.
Here's how to create a cape:
- Find a wild animal on the map.
- Eliminate it.
- Repeat until you have at least 2 animal bones and 1 meat.
- Go to the "Craft" tab in your inventory.
- Choose to craft a hunter's cloak.
What does a hunter cape do in Fortnite?
The Hunter's Cloak claims to "knock creatures off the scent". Once equipped, it should repel any animals that come your way, meaning you won't have to alert enemies to your position by running away or taking out wolves or boars.
Since it doesn't take long, you don't have to worry about collecting the necessary materials. If you collect more than required, you can easily use the spare meat and animal bones to create better weapons for yourself.
