How to Unlock Hidden Clothes in Pokemon Sword & Shield: Crown Tundra
The latest Pokemon Sword & Shield DLC, The Crown Tundra, is not only filled with new monsters to capture, but also has clothing items to unlock. This is how you can get the newest clothes in the game.
On October 22, Pokemon Sword & Shield received its second DLC, The Crown Tundra. This expansion introduced players to the Dynamax Adventures mode and brought the legendary items of the past generation to the RPG.
However, the addition not only expanded the region with new monsters, but also included clothing items that could be unlocked by trainers. Here's our guide to every new outfit being added to the game and how to get it.
Unlocking clothing items in Pokemon Crown Tundra
For the first Sword & Shield DLC, The Isle of Armor, new items of clothing were added to the shops in the Galar region for purchase. Unfortunately, things are not so simple in The Crown Tundra this time around.
Almost every new item of clothing must be unlocked by completing tasks or talking to the right person. Because of this, trainers can lose sight of the secret content running through the story.
Players who want to look their best will have to work a little. Below, we'll break down all of the clothing items available in the October update and explain the fastest ways to get them.
Story Campaign Unlock
Some of the easiest unlocks can actually be obtained by playing the DLC's main story. Below is a list of items that you will receive as a result of completing the campaign:
- ➤ Boat neck sweatshirt - trainers will get this fairly quickly in the campaign, as the mayor of Freezington gives the item after discussing the legend of Calyrex. The gray sweater depicts the legendary mon and his horse.
- ➤ Expedition uniform - in At the beginning of the story, Mr. Peony will give you this orange outfit to wear on your search for legends in the Royal Tundra.
- ➤ Expedition Golden Form - players will be automatically rewarded with this shiny version of the Expedition Outfit after completing the main story.
- ➤ Ensemble W x F x G. After completing the DLC, fly to The Isle of Armor train station, where a fashion designer in a blue suit will sell you this three-piece suit. This is necessary to send a fashion designer to Windon Stadium.
- ➤ Ensemble C x L — Fly to Wyndon Stadium and talk to the man in the blue suit. He will give you a two-piece sweatshirt and tights.
- ➤ Legendary Regieleki or Regidrago Hoodie - Now that you've taken care of all of the above, you can talk to the fashion designer for the third time at Wyndon Stadium. In the Crown Tundra DLC, you had to choose between two new Regis. The man in the suit will now give you an epic hoodie based on the legendary giant you captured. If you trade for another Ryogi, you can also get a second hoodie.
- ➤ Copy of the state crown — dedicated trainers who are 100% proficient with their Tundra Dex crown will be rewarded with that queen style crown. Just talk to the scientist at the CT train station and show her your completed Pokedex.
Galarian Star Tournament
After completing the Crown Tundra story, Leon will call you to go to Windon. The former champion will reveal that he created the Galarian Star Tournament. After participating in the competition, the following form of clothing is unlocked:
- Galarian Star Uniform - after winning the Galarian Star Tournament, trainers will receive this detailed black jersey fit for a champion.
Dynamax Adventures
Dynamax Adventures players can unlock several items in Max Lair. Just talk to Peonia at the entrance a few times.
- Futuristic Shades - Donated by Peonia after several conversations with her.
- The futuristic monocle same as above.
Bonus Unlocks
- Sports cap Hex Nut: players who already own Meltan from Pokemon GO can transfer it to Sword & Shield. As soon as a rare monster appears in your game, talk to the scientist at Crown Tundra Station to receive a themed hat as a reward.
Unlike Isle of Armor, Game Freak designed The Crown Tundra в mainly considering search and discoveries. The DLC is actually packed full of pretty epic clothing items - if you know where to look for them.
