Introduced in the game's first teaser trailer, Mantis Blades have been an iconic symbol of Cyberpunk 2077 ever since. Players can now find and use this powerful weapon, and here's the easiest way to unlock this legendary cyberweapon for free.
Mantis Blades Arasaka Corporation - combat cybernetic implant. The blades extend from the forearm, allowing them to be used as a melee weapon and as a wall-climbing device.
With the official release of Cyberpunk 2077 10 December players can get Mantis Blades and try them out.
Using the steps in our guide, players will be able to find and acquire Mantis Blades without firing a single shot!
Mantis blades allow V to engage in fast-paced melee combat with slashing and slashing attacks. They also unlock the ability to jump long distances and hit the target with V blades, dealing heavy damage.
Even for a stealth or ranged player, adding this weapon to your arsenal is a smart decision. The base and physical damage values will scale based on the player's current level, and the blades can also deal critical damage and bleed, making them incredibly powerful.
How to get Mantis Blades in Cyberpunk 2077
Players have several ways to acquire Mantis Blades, but some of them can be expensive or difficult. Following the steps in the video JorRaptor, players can get Mantis Blades in minutes:
- Head to the central area of the city, in particular, to Corpo Plaza.
- Pay attention to the side job marker on the map in the upper left corner outside of the large intersection.
- Get to your place of work
- Save your game before entering the side mission area (there is a chance the Mantis Blades won't spawn, and if it does, you can reload your last save and try again)
- Enter the side job area and find a chest on the wall to the right, just behind the body on the ground.
- Search the chest and you will see the available Mantis Blades.
- If the blades don't appear, reload your last save and repeat the process until they do.
- At this point, you can either leave the area and not fight the side quest boss (who will stop attacking you as soon as you leave), or you can defeat the enemy to get a legendary tier katana.
- Go to the ripperdock to install Mantis Blades and then they will be available for equipping.
