How Reaction Growth Genshin Impct Works
Growth is a new reaction in Genshin Impct, which takes place with the participation of the dendro and the hydro element. Element. This change will lead to a shift in the game meta, as the new Dendro combos have massive effects in combat.
Players will need to prepare to adopt these strategies on their teams as they are likely to be a huge part of the game in a future update. Today you can get an early look at the Spread Reaction in this article, although the animation is still in its early stages of development.
Genshin Impact: Dendro Sprawl Reaction
Thanks to a new leak from authoritative source Lumie, combined with Genshin_Intel, players can get their first look at the new dendro element reactions in action.
These reactions are unlike anything in Genshin Impact so far, and it looks like Dendro will bring a huge shift to how battles play out.
Dendro already has a powerful in-game reaction known as burning. However, players cannot take advantage of this effectively as there is no way to cast Dendro on enemies.
This combo of Pyro and Dendro leaves enemies blazing, draining their HP quickly and dealing damage over time.
These new elemental reactions allow Dendro to combine two more elements to synergize with even more characters in combat. These reactions are electro x dendro and hydro x dendro.
The reaction that occurs when hydro and dendro come together is called sprawl. It's a combo causes spawning of seeds that germinate into mushrooms. These mushrooms will explode when hydro is applied to them and they deal dendro damage by area.
- The duration of the reaction is different (depending on who activated it). If you activate - 3 seconds, if the enemy - 5 (or vice versa, strange wording);
- This reaction can deal Dendro AoE damage to the player only if the enemy himself activated the seeds with his Hydro;
- If you activated the seeds, then the mushrooms will not damage you!
The Growth reaction introduces a new way to play as Hydro characters, making the element even more valuable.
Interestingly, the Growth reaction currently deals damage to both friends and foes, making it dangerous for both sides in a fight.
Whether this will remain in the game after the element goes live remains to be seen. However, it will definitely be a unique twist and something to keep an eye on during the battle.
