How to Enter the Fortnite Dance Fever Contest on TikTok
Epic Games is giving Fortnite fans another chance to get their own in-game emote with the Dance Fever #EmoteRoyaleContest taking place on TikTok. So here's what you need to know about participation.
While fans have been flocking to Fortnite to experience the popular and flashy battle royale, many have tried to create their own ideas for cosmetics, landmarks, and even weapons.
Some of them have seen their cosmetics in the game - with the Tender Defender being the most prominent, but there are also a few emotes in there. They came from the Boogie Down competition that Epic Games held in 2018, but now they're doing it again in the form of Emote Royale on TikTok.
How it works? Record a video of yourself doing an original dance and upload it to TikTok with the #EmoteRoyaleContest hashtag. The winner's dance will become an emote in Fortnite. In addition, the winner will receive 25 V-Bucks and a VIP Fortnite Gift Pack.
The contest will begin on January 18 at 11:00 Moscow time and end on January 25 at 10:59 Moscow time. All entries must be submitted during the competition period.
Looking for inspiration? Fortnite Community Contributors Jordan Fisher и Pokimane have already uploaded their work to TikTok to show you how to act. Check out their videos - you'll find their emotes in the Item Shop soon!
Important note: Before you start, be sure to read the official competition rules. You must be at least 13 years old. In addition, you must use pre-selected music from Fortnite:
