Lighthouses miraculously appeared on the island in Season 2, Chapter 4 of Fortnite. All of these structures are located in a Japanese themed biome and can be found on the outskirts of the island.

Unfortunately, since the newly added beacons are not marked on the map as main POIs, they can be quite difficult to find. With so many events going on at any given time on the island, it's easy to miss these structures.

Here's where to find all beacons in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

As mentioned, all three lighthouses are in the Japanese biome. They are located on the southern and eastern edges of the island. Here's where to find them:

  • glowing lantern
  • burning beacon
  • Twilight torch

The Luminous Lantern Lighthouse Landmark is a short distance southeast of Steamy Springs. Thus, there are two ways to reach this attraction. Players can either land in Steamy Springs, prepare, and then ride the Rogue Bike to the lighthouse, or land at Sandy Circle and use the Kinetic Blade as a mobility tool.

To find the Burning Lighthouse landmark, players can land at the Kenjutsu Crossing and then make their way to the lighthouse located west of the POI. Considering that it is located on the edge of the island and on a hill, it is impossible to miss it.

The Lighthouse Landmark Twilight Torch is located a short distance north of the Knotty Nets POI. Although this area is covered in trees that can obstruct your view, you must continue heading north until the edge of the island comes into view. Hidden among the foliage, the lighthouse will soon become visible.

Should you visit the lighthouses in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?

By and large, visiting the lighthouses that are present on the island is a waste of time. Apart from discovering the fog of war that is present on the map at the beginning of each new season, there is no other reason to visit them.

However, the only time to visit these attractions is when they are associated with a challenge/quest. Since one of the challenges this week is to visit all three lighthouses in the same match, they are likely to become hot spots over the next few days.

Fortunately, since the weekly challenges will remain active until the end Chapters 4 Season 2, there is no need to rush and try to complete the task. If necessary, you can wait until the end of the week to try this challenge.

Alternatively, for those who have a tight squad and can coordinate well, trying to visit all three lighthouses in one match will be interesting. Players were able to cover the distance in time and return to the safe zone in time to continue the rest of the match.
