Fortnite players surely love the freebies that the developers give them every season. From free skin Refer-A-Friend down to the indistinct back decoration you can get from completing quests, players have conscientiously completed all the tasks that Epic offered to complete in order to receive free rewards.
However, over the course of several seasons, getting these freebies starts to feel like too much work for some players. Epic continues to add free content, but players are being asked to put in the work to qualify for these rewards.
This time around, the block has a new item, the Satellite Pickaxe, which you can get in Fortnite with a few simple steps. Here's how you can get her in Season 3.
Get the Satellite Pickaxe in Fortnite Now
Cloud gaming platform Nvidia GeForce Now launched earlier this year, where players could stream Fortnite on any device as long as they were a member of the service. It also allowed iOS users to stream the game on their phones despite Apple's lawsuit against Epic.
In a recent tweet, Nvidia announced that Fortnite players will be able to redeem a free Satellite Kirk if they stream Fortnite on their GeForce Now-enabled devices by August 4, 2022. Players who are members of the exclusive service will only be able to exchange it for free in the game.
However, in another announcement, Epic told its player base that the pickaxe is not exclusive to GeForce Now, but will also be available in the item store at a later date. This means that those who cannot redeem a free pickaxe using their GeForce Now memberships will have the option to purchase it using V-Bucks in the Item Shop.
The price of the pick has not been revealed yet, as players believe it will be released after the August 4th limited window for GeForce Now members. As soon as we get any news about the release of the Item Shop, we will be sure to update this article.
