DC Comics superhero Wonder Woman is finally coming to Fortnite in her own guise, and you can earn the skin for free by participating in the new Wonder Woman Cup.
While nearly every major Marvel character had already appeared in Fortnite by this point, it took a little longer for DC Comics characters to appear. Now, just a few weeks after Superman finally landed on the Island, Wonder Woman is about to join him!
This means that the famous DC Comics trio of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are finally coming to Fortnite, so you can build the best team with your friends. Here's everything you need to know about the Amazon Warrior's arrival.
How to get the Wonder Woman skin in Fortnite
Like almost every major crossover in Fortnite, you'll be able to get the Wonder Woman skin. by purchasing it from the item shop . There's also a chance to win it for free in the Wonder Woman Cup, as you'll find out further down the page.
There will be two variants of the Wonder Woman skin (normal and armored), and there will also be several matching cosmetic items, including a glider with Golden Eagle wings, Athena's battle axe, a DC Trinity loading screen, and a "Diana Robe" back ornament.
Fortnite Wonder Woman skin release date
Epic Games has confirmed that the Wonder Woman skin and related cosmetics will arrive in Fortnite in Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 17:00 PM PT / 20:00 PM EST / 1:00 AM BST (August 20) .
Based on previous crossover skins that have appeared in the Fortnite item shop, a single skin will likely cost around 1500 V-bucks, while a set will be somewhere between 2000 to 2500 V-bucks.
How to Compete in the Fortnite Wonder Woman Cup
Epic Games also announced what in Wednesday, 18 August 2021 year, there will be a special Wonder Woman Cup. This is a doubles tournament where players have three hours to earn as many points as possible over 10 matches.
The top teams in each region will receive the Wonder Woman skin and matching Diana Robe back, and any team that scores over eight points will receive the Honorary Amazons loading screen.
Players must have two-factor authentication (2fA) enabled and be level 30 or higher to participate in the Wonder Woman Cup. Check the Career tab while playing Fortnite to find the game start time in your region.
