How to defeat Besht in the Guardian of the Abyss quest in Genshin Impact 2.4

Part 3 Genshin Impact Event Colors of transience is now available and players can challenge themselves to fight a temporary boss inside a specific domain.

Travelers can take part in the Guardian of the Abyss challenge, where they will be transported to a special area and defeat Beisht, the boss of the event. Upon completing the quest, players will receive talismans of defeated evil from the event page, and they can be exchanged for one four-star Li Yue character and the new Ning Guang skin.

How to complete the Abyssal Guardian quest in Genshin Impact

Travelers can start the Abyss Guardian challenge after they teleport to the dungeon south of the Guyun Stone Forest, Li Yue. Resins will not be consumed when players defeat an enemy and leave the domain, as rewards can be obtained directly from the event page.

Once the quest starts, the monster will first appear with only one of its heads. The boss has three different heads; each with its own health bar. Players must defeat all three heads to complete the challenge. Readers should note that a defeated head can still attack the active character, but will no longer take damage.

The event page says that gamers must complete the challenge six times to receive all rewards, including talismans. However, there are also two additional quests that reward players with mora and hero experience.

How to beat Besht before she can dive four times

For the first challenge, players must defeat Besht before she can dive underwater four times. Dive is a skill in which Besht dives into the water for a few seconds while attacking an active character.

Readers should note that this mission only counts for a dive made by a head that is still alive. So if any of the Besht heads that have already been defeated make a dive, it won't spoil the player's task. However, since the boss has three heads, it's best to hit each head as quickly as possible.

Defeat Besht without being hit by her water currents

Besht has a total of five attack skills, and one of them is water current attack. Water blast is when an enemy plunges its head into the platform, sucking nearby players towards it before launching a powerful water beam and dealing hydro damage to the area being attacked. Since players cannot be hit by this skill even once, in order to complete the objective, they must immediately run away from the head to the side, which charges up its Signature Blow.

Fighting the same enemy six times to get rewards can be tedious, but players can have fun playing with their friends. After all, they can still complete tasks even in Co-Op mode.
