Attentive fans were also quick to notice that modified cars appeared in trailers for the new season - something that has been around for a while. insiders predicted , - although they weren't in the game when Season 6 was released.
Well everything has changed since update v16.20 , as vehicle modifications began to appear in Fortnite. The first mod released is Chonkers, a new set of tires that improve the off-road driving of cars.
How to Use Chunkers Tire Car Mods in Fortnite
Chonkers tires not only provide better off-road traction and provide a springy suspension that is sure to be a lot of fun, but also allows cars to tackle steep surfaces. They will fit for sure!
Here's how to use the new Chonkers Tire Mod in Fortnite:
- Go to the workshop "Meow" in the Secluded Corner.
- Enter the new garage building where the Repairwoman now spawns.
- Look for Chonkers tires lying on the ground.
- Take them away.
- Find a car - it should be nearby.
- Hold the target and throw the Chonkers tires straight at the car.

Chunkers Off-Road Tire Locations
After the Fortnite v16.20 update, most players will be looking for Chonkers off-road tires to modify their vehicles. Luckily, they're not that hard to find if you know where to look.
A number of new designs have popped up at various garages across the island, all fitted with Chonkers tires. The easiest one we found is the aforementioned Nook.

Epic is expected to add more vehicle modifications to Fortnite soon. Miners have previously speculated that even vehicular machine guns will appear in the game at some point, so there's plenty to look forward to.
