With the release WoW Dragon Flight players can now start the final adventure by venturing into an entirely new area in the Dragon Isles. Characters, quests, loot and secrets await you in the new region, but how exactly will you get there?
Before you can enjoy any of the new content in Dragonflight, you must first travel to this new location. Luckily, getting there should be easy if you complete a specific questline.
Here's how you can travel to the Dragon Isles in WoW Dragonflight without wasting time.
How to get to the Dragon Isles in WoW Dragonflight
Whether you're an experienced WoW player who's completed all of the pre-release content, or you're just jumping into a new expansion for the first time, everyone starts from the same point. All players must complete the quest The Dragonscale Expedition.
Once you get to the last step in this base quest line, one of two options will become available depending on your devotion.
union
If you are a member of the Alliance, you must travel to Stormwind Harbor. From here, watch out for a special boat that will take you straight to the Dragon Islands.
It may take a few minutes for this particular boat to show up, so keep your eyes peeled. Chances are you'll see dozens of other players looking for the same boat to spawn in, so be sure to follow the crowd.
Horde
If you are a member of the Horde, you mustvisit Zeppelin Master Orgrimmar. Similar to the method above, you will have to wait here for a specific Zeppelin to appear. As soon as he appears, just hop aboard and he will take you straight to the Dragon Islands.
Issues reaching the Dragon Isles in WoW Dragonflight
At the time of writing, thousands of players are facing difficulties with the methods listed above. For many, boats and zeppelins either take a long time to appear or simply don't appear at all.
There is currently no workaround in WoW Dragonflight. To access the latest content, everyone must follow the same steps, complete The Dragonscale Expedition quest, and travel to the Dragon Isles.
