How to Make a Composter in Minecraft
Minecraft Composter is an often overlooked item, but it can be important if you want to create a blooming garden.
In Minecraft, players can craft a variety of items, from weapons and armor to food and farming materials. The game really has everything. One of the more unique items is the Composter, which allows players to turn unwanted food into bonemeal that can be used to fertilize plants. So, in this guide, we are going to explain how to create a Composter in Minecraft and go into some of the details of what it does.
Minecraft composter - how to make, goal
To make a composter in Minecraft, players will need to place seven wooden slabs (any kind will do) on a U-shaped crafting table. This means that the second square in the top and middle rows should be left blank. Once you've combined the necessary items, you'll find yourself with a brand new composter that can be used to process unwanted vegetation and make the much coveted bone meal.
With the Composter crafted, players can start putting all sorts of vegetation and other unwanted food into it until they have accumulated seven layers of compost. At this point, the compost will turn into bone meal, and players can use it to fertilize all the plants in their garden. Unfortunately, simply adding a certain item to the Composter will not result in a new layer of compost, but instead it will be possible to add another layer with other items offering higher and lower percentages. That being said, Cake and Pumpkin Pie are the only two items that will automatically add a layer of compost if you have a spare.
