Haran Geppaku Futsu - sword of Genshin Impact

Haran Geppaku Futsu - 5★ one-handed weapon Genshin Impact.

"The Stream of Blades"

“A work of art from the Futsu family of blacksmiths. "Haran" in the name is associated with the resemblance of the blade to the violent waves of the sea.

This sword is mentioned in the Anthology of Inazuma Swords by Mikoshi Nagamasa, the famous inspector of Tatarasuna.
The Futsu school custom made two swords from the geppaku futsu series: Hasui and Haran.
Haran is the only surviving blade forged by the great blacksmith Masagomaru.

They say that the souls of those who forged them are embedded in the blades...
This is how the anthology begins.
Hasui is said to have been forged by Futsu Minori from the school's third generation of masters.
This magnificent pale blue sword with a blade like water ripples was often worn on the belt by the personal servants of the shogun.
During one deadly duel that decided the fate of the Oni people, the blade broke and was sent for reforging.
At this time, Futsu Minori, who had long been tormented by alcohol, old wounds, and heavy memories of Tatarigami, broke like a blade of unhardened steel.
The head of the fourth generation, Futsu Hiroyoshi, was no match for his mother's skill.
It was his named brother Futsu Masayoshi, who is called Masagomaru.
It was he who forged the sword, allowing the masterpiece of the Futsu school to reappear in this world.
Both geppaku futsu blades are very similar in appearance, but different in character.

In his entire life, Masagomaru gave a name only to this sword, and then for a very simple reason.
He was a mute, illiterate orphan who was taken in by a third-generation master.
When ordered to restore the beauty of Hasui's blade, he engraved its former name.

When Futsu Minori passed away, Masagomaru taught Hiroyoshi her forging technique.
They say that she wanted Masagomaru to head the school, but he repeatedly refused.
The creation of Haran, and the fame that came with it, nearly affected Hiroyoshi's succession as head of the fourth generation of masters.
Therefore, when his sworn brother took over the school, Masagomaru decided to go his own way.
He turned to different blacksmith schools, absorbing the precious wisdom of famous blacksmiths drop by drop.
In the last years of his life, he had three students that he was most proud of: Kaedehara Kagemitsu, Niwa Nagamitsu and Akame Mitsunaga.
These three will create Isshin Sansaku, the three great works of Isshin art.

“Then I was just a mute from birth, a freak, a dirty, abandoned child.
Like a moth I longed for warmth on bitter, cold nights, and I found it near the blacksmith's furnace.
Standing in front of me was the Third Generation Master, the one people called sullen and arrogant.
But she, unlike the others, not only did not send me away, but gave me some rice to fill my empty stomach.
Seeing that I was covered in metallic sand, she named me Masagomaru."

There must be many stories hidden in the heart of a non-verbal but sensitive Masagomaru.
Everything unspoken will eventually disappear in the waves...

“I was mute, so the third generation master told me many stories.
About the old wound that hit one side of her body, about the desires of her mother and brother,
about the red hakama she was not destined to wear, and about the giant wave that would one day swallow everything…”

One night the boy made his way to the forge and saw the famous temperamental master.
She diligently forged pieces of iron, ignoring the tears streaming down her cheeks.
"You'd better forget what you just saw, got it?"
Frightened, the boy nodded again, and she suddenly burst into laughter, clapping her hands:
“I completely forgot that your mouth is sealed like a bottle of wine. It makes you a best friend!

The rumors are generally true. I'm an unpredictable drunk."
Come to think of it, I should have accepted the master's invitation and had a drink with her...

The anthology also talks about the differences in the shape of the geppaku futsu blades.
The great work of Futsu Minori, like the serene and calm expanse of the night sea, became known as Hasui.
The sword that the mute Masayoshi recreated was as imposing as a mighty storm, for which he received the name Haran.

Who is Haran Geppaku Futsu for?

Haran Geppaku Futsu is Ayato's signature weapon. His attacks from the butch are considered normal, and the passive of the sword greatly increases their damage.

For other characters: the passive obliges you to hit a lot with your hand. Ayaka and Ke Qing will be able to unleash the potential of the sword, for other swordsmen, Haran will remain a crit stick. high attack chance. If your Kazuha is focused on anemo and crits - the sword will serve him well, Keia will not mind high attack and increased crit. chance in any build.
