Fog-Cleaver - Genshin Impact Sword

Cleaving Mist - 5★ one-handed weapon Genshin Impact.

"Mist Breaker Blade"

“A sword that glows with an ominous purple light. Once it was already broken, but then it was forged again.

One of the many swords that the shogun bestows on a hatamoto. It is said that he can call upon the powers of lightning and cut everything in two, including mountains, wind, night, and even fog.
Once it was shattered into a thousand pieces. When it was reforged, its blade was adorned with stripes resembling a stream of clouds.

A folk song sings about "Great Arataki Gate, Iwakura's Legacy, Kitain the Long Snake, and Mist-Cleaver".
Martial arts loving kids matched famous martial artists. One of them is Takamine with the Fog Breaker.
One day, he traveled with a monk in search of purification from the filth, and with the help of the secret style of the sword "Mist Breaker", he killed countless monsters and Tatarigami.
He also learned archery from tengu Yogo and passed this knowledge on to his chosen owner.
However, the Mistbreaker, a secret style of sword fighting, had no followers and is now found only in manuscripts, drawings, and fairy tales.

At the end of his service, he took a position as an assistant in the shogun's army and fought against the dark army.

If he had not bet her his favorite bow, perhaps everything would have been different.
But real gamblers shouldn't regret, think "what if" or lament "if only".
Enemies come like mist. So just keep cutting with a style that can dispel it.
If the strikes are fast enough, the dark fog will dissipate and you will see the light.

“Asase, your promise… No, I won’t lose this time.”
“I will return and take back the bow I set down, and the future itself will be my prize!”

Like an endless chain of lightning, he and Mistbreaker slew countless demons.
However, the sword was not as durable as its owner. Gradually it broke down.
And plunged into this thick dark fog ...
It was eventually rebuilt with only a fraction of the blade's shards used, and the sword inherited the name Fog-Cleaver.

As if holding on to a cobweb in the dark, the warrior tightly gripped the hilt of a broken sword.
In the dark fog, he stubbornly reminded himself:
The result of the game is still unknown. I have to go back to Asase...

Who is Fog Breaker for?

Mistclear offers a solid and balanced set of offensive stats, making it an ideal choice for most swordsmen who require damage from their element. For some characters, it is the best option.

For Ayaka, Mist-Cleaver is her signature weapon and is noticeably superior to all competitors. The passive ability is consistent with her skills: when an elemental skill is activated, two stacks are obtained at once, and the bonus is preserved when switching to another mode. However, before using the elemental skill, you need to gain one more stack by making a dash and a normal infusion attack.

For Keqing, Mistclear is almost on par with Ayaka and is the best choice to play with electro-infusion and elemental ability. In the case of using the Cryo-Resonance and Lost in Blizzard variant, the main competitor, Precious Pool, comes close to it, since Catalysis reduces the importance of Attack in favor of critical hits, although it does not exceed it. If you do not use the elemental ability, then Precious Pool is more preferable. In the physical build, the passive ability does not activate, so Mist-Cleaver loses some effectiveness, although it still outperforms the four-star weapon options. In a revolver-style game, it's worth making one normal infusion attack before using an elemental ability.

Due to its high base damage, Fog Breaker is the best choice for Bennet in a support role. This is also the best option for his personal damage output regardless of using his 6th constellation level.

For Keia, Fog Breaker is often Keia's best bet, especially if she uses Cryo Resonance and Lost in Blizzard to increase her critical chance. This is also true even without the infusion of Chun Yun or the 6th level of the Bennet constellation, although she will only have one stack of the passive ability from energy available, which will not be included in the ultimate ability.

For the rest of the characters on the roster, Fog Breaker comes in at number two and three, ahead of Precious Pool and other character-specific options.
