MrBeast's Squid Game Project Burns a Hole in His Pocket Faster Than He Expected
Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, a very popular and generous streamer, posted a tweet claiming that his YouTube project “The Squid Game” is costing him much more than he thought.
In mid-October, Mr. Beast announced that he was planning to host his version of the hit Netflix series. The influencer claimed that the project would cost him more than $2 million.
He recently posted three photos of unfinished sets that looked like they were 90% complete. He tweeted earlier today that the entire project ended up being a lot more expensive than he originally thought.

So far, the streamer has not released scheduling or casting information for his Squid Game. However, there were many indications that the project was costing him much more than he had originally thought. On October 16, he posted a tweet promoting the hoodie. Donaldson stated that he would select 100 people who randomly purchased the sweatshirt as participants for his version of the Squid Game.
The content creator also claimed that he would like to abandon the idea, as the project cost him more than $ 2 million. He now admits that the project was too expensive and that he can't stop now because he's "bogged down too deep."
The three photos he posted suggested that the set was almost finished. In addition, he recently asked for advice from the community on one minor aspect related to the project. Mr. Beast suggested that people might learn about this ordeal during a tug-of-war when they were asked to form groups of ten. He later stated that he had found a solution to the problem and appeared to be close to completing pre-production tasks.
Some users have claimed that the original show did not create all of the sets, but simply used VFX.
In any case, the community supports MrBeast for putting his time and money into the project. It is expected that detailed information about the participation and schedule of the Squid Games gaming event will be published in the near future.
