Walkthrough
Vermeer stands on the southwestern shore of Lake Luhua, next to the teleporter.
You will be tasked with finding Vermeer's brushes and paints that he left nearby.
Look at the sketches
Vermeer will give you two sketches that can be viewed in the Quest Items tab in your inventory. Take a look at them to get a better idea of where the consumables are (or use our images above).
Both locations have views of the ruins, so head to the Teleport waypoint straight north and head up the hill to find the first set of Vermeer accessories.
The second set of items is in the east, next to another waypoint of the Pul Luhua teleporter. Take both and return to Vermeer.
Vermeer will give you a Strange Stone, so your next goal is to find another one. It can be found to the north, at the water's edge, in the grass.
Pick it up and run back to Vermeer.
Remember that he was standing next to the warrior statues and the strange switch? Climb up each statue and place stones in them - this will activate a switch that can be moved using a geo-ability. Yes, without a geo-character, the quest cannot be completed.
By activating the switch, you will have to fight with three slimes, and they must be killed in 90 seconds, otherwise you will fail the quest!
In such situations, it is recommended to use control spells that put or pull enemies in one area, and then hit them with powerful charges.
After defeating the slimes, the door to the ruins will open. Going inside and looking around, you will see several chests. Open them and take artifacts. After that, run to the eastern shore of Lake Luhua, to the ruins (recently you picked up one of the sets of brushes and paints there) - Vermeer will be waiting for you there. Chat with him, complete the quest, unlock the achievement and get five Source Stones as a bonus.
